I reckon I got the Ipswich Yowie on film yesterday afternoon

As I've stated before, I moved to Tivoli near Ipswich, Queensland, based on two years research tracking
Yowie sightings and looking for a migration pattern,based on seasonal food availability and other possible contributors.

I haven't had much time to research local bush foods or animal migration as of yet having only been here a month but
I'm fairly certain I captured the Ipswich Yowie on film.

Yesterday afternoon (1/2/2017) about 40 minutes before dusk whilst filming a huge mob of cockatoo's flying around
the area, I just happened to pan into the scrub following their line of flight.

I noticed movement in the scrub some 400 meters away via the zoom lens. I stopped filming and re-adjusted the focus
onto the area and filmed.

The distance (along with no tripod) made the zoom very shaky but I reckon I got at least one upright,
very tall figure moving tree branches around, possibly feeding.

I walked to the exact spot this morning and shot some clean footage of the area and I will post the entire
event as soon as its converted from HDD MTS into a format that can be posted to the internet.

Here are three stills from the footage in the mean while.

Viewing this clip frame by frame I see multiple archaic humans taking turns having a look at you. When you walked out to the sighting spot I noticed that several did not flee but instead hid in the trees and others stayed low to the ground but stayed put. You were right next to them.

Like you, I've moved to a hotspot to try to run this to ground. I'm excited for you as you should be able to do world-class research literally just outside your home. That place is seriously loaded with them. Will follow your work with keen interest.

Paul, have you played around with these still images? The middle image looks to be vertically stretched, as evident by the height of the flower on the left.

Just a couple of questions a reporter might ask you: So what's the background to this video? You were filming magpies and cockatoos. Why? Why did you zoom into that non-descript area with the trees? Why did you continue to focus (and I use the term loosely) on that area when nothing was actually happening? Why did you say "what the f...?" when at that point there was still nothing to be seen? Did you film this before becoming interested in yowies? What would you say to people who question the likelihood of someone catching a yowie on video only shortly after moving to the area and becoming aware of the phenomena?

It's a branch blowing in the breeze along with the foliage in the background , the sun is shining on the branch . During the video the branch SEEMS to disappear but it's still there , it's no longer in the sunlight

Yeah ive been caught out with those moving/ blowing branch pics except mine was an alien walking past..even had a face. Hard to tell when zoomed in without the rest of background to compare. Thankfully i showed a few trusted people first who sorted me out.

I have more footage of Footprints deep in the sandy substrate, right in the immediate video area , I also have a large hair sample taken from (what I think) is the same tree in the video. And I have started taking tripod surveillance video (with good results).

It's hard to be taken seriously, (despite my background) even here on this site, let alone the rest of Australia.

I have been called every abusive word conceived by man since QT posted their story.

I have openly offered to show anybody the site but there are no takers.

I make no money on any of this and ask for nothing , all my data is available to anyone at anytime for free.

Hair sample (a big one) offered....no takers

Fossilized tooth found and offered .....no takers

I don't know what else I can do.....?

Questions that are not unexpected and fair enough, also questions that have been answered on this forum already.

I would only add this, a new video of the same area taken on 14th feb at around the same time as the original and when the light penetrates the tree cover
and allows the camera a glimpse of the vegetation normally obscured under different lighting.

Because of the distance I can film without whatever is there detecting me and leaving or concealing itself. I have filmed no birds there during the day.

I have not observed possums or koalas in the tree's as of yet. My neighbor whom has lived here for years has never seen a koala in the area.

I walked over there and found more prints but no animals or birds and whats stranger no insect noises....always present here no matter the time.

There was NO wind, as can be plainly seen at the start of the footage.


The distance is over 160 meters from the camera and taken in good light over the interior treeline.

No flocks of birds were seen landing there.

I heard no large bird species kookaburra, magpie, cockatoo....normal bird life seen here).

I was here matey, and filmed it, hardly a cyclone going on, but I suppose I should have noted that a wee breeze may have moved a few leaves and I didn't notice that in the footage, it was stinking hot and still as, and yet all that activity shown is...what....wind?

I'm not hoaxing this matey, why would I?
And I know wind in the tree's from localized movement in the tree's, would have been a s#@t soldier if I didn't.

But I get your point and it's well taken.

Paul--i love your work, very interesting about the missing peope but i have to agree with yb, there has to be a clearer shot ( i know its hard) but i truelly dont see anything. Rustys video too i didnt see any yowie there either in your footage he viewed. I do see lots of wind, even though you said it was dead still--very strange. Anyhow keep going. Dee
