Haven't posted an image for awhile here. This is a still image zoom from Northern Nevada:

Added a circle Greg.

I think the image is either a living archaic human or a powerful example of pareidolia induced by inanimate objects. My personal opinion is that it is an archaic. The image is a frame from video shot from about 8000 feet away in the Jarbidge Wilderness.

He (features look male to us) is relatively clear so we made a short zoom clip for youtube:

The imagery is from last summer. Our research area is under 500+ inches of snow lol.

I can't see anything in these images....

Im sorry but i feel putting pictures up like this makes us all a laughing stock. Clearly nothing to see, i have thousands of these pictures out bush, In which i immediately discard. If you believe in the hairy men you might want to wait until you get that clear clear undeniable pic of one, so people can see that they are REAL. Not putting you down at all, just trying to get you to understand how hard it is to get others to believe in this topic as it is. Least your out there. Dee

Sorry, but you can clearly see blue sky where it's body would be.
Paredolia is an interesting thing... I clearly see a large, cartoonish face in the big rock, but then, I am a cartoonist and see funny characters everywhere (woot)

Agree wholeheartedly these photos do nothing for research but only hinder it.

I could circle anything in these photos and it all looks the same.

Maybe we should have a screening policy (controlled by the AYR) of all pics before there are uploaded.

And as others have said, we will be the laughing stock.

I don't think censorship is the answer.

The only person who'd be laughed at is the one posting the images. Besides...who posts here apart from people who are already prepared to accept the reality of these creatures existing?

If someone posts BS, then we can only prove ourselves to be intelligent observers by looking at things objectively and fairly and calling things as we see them.

Also....we're already the laughing stock, are we not? We have threads about stuff that most people would laugh at without even giving it a second thought.

Just by posting here we've pretty much declared ourselves as being outside the mainstream of scientific opinion and part of what most would call 'the lunatic fringe'. There's no point in worrying about being laughed at. As long as we make sure our observations are factual we should be fine.

I'd like to post some more pictures here. Rhonda thinks, however, that I should first try to respond to the commentary so I will...

We read the comments here. We pay particular attention to comments made by mainstream researchers with an experienced eye. I've pulled down 5-6 videos from our youtube channel over the last year as a result of considering some of those high-value comments.

Lets see, I also keep my imagery all in this one thread so that Dean can easily delete the whole bloody mess if at some point he determines that my material is working counter to his goals.

So, on to the big guy! I've mentioned the heavy snowpack in our local research area. When it melts its going to be one hell of a mess. We may not get back up there until June! I've been going through footage from last summer so it was recorded with last years rig. There is a touch of spherical aberration but not so much that you would notice. These images are from the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains and include a "leave-out", a subject that was not included in the video linked here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnHJvI4Mi98
