YowieHunters.com Youtube Channel.

Unread post by Wampa1 »

Hello All,

I don't post in here a lot, more of a reader than writer but I am wondering if any of you hairy men and women listen/watch the YowieHunters Youtube channel?

Interesting last witness account they have just posted; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t_pDERdqxg
Pretty interesting to hear about a little hairy fella with a slim build.

Seemed to be not that scared of the horse riders. Good on the ladies for not turning around and riding away, they followed it until they lost sight.
Wondering if anyone else as experienced something similar with these smaller kinds?
(Apologies if this subject has already been recently posted).

There's a link to the YouTube channel on the home page (audio reports). They're always worth listening to. (thumb up)

That is an intriging case with three points that got me thining hummmm:

1. The horses were not spooked (other cases suggest they get spooked)
2. The hairy creature ran in a zig zag manner, instead of making a hasty get away.
3. It suddently vanished behind some bushes.

What are your thoughts on this guys.

Since every situation is different, and there's so much we don't know about Yowie behaviour, it's difficult to draw conclusions. She sounded sincere but she could just be a convincing storyteller for all we know (this is true of every report).

The fact that it was so random and so strange made me think it was true. When people make things up they tend to embellish, but her description came across as something she'd actually seen, although the horses not reacting also gave me pause for thought.

I suppose all of them have to be taken on their own merits - just because some horses reacted in other situations doesn't mean other horses will do so under different conditions.

Simon you said what I was thinking. :D
After listening to this report I was thinking how much the listener has to trust the witness on their testimony.
This story had lots of interesting parts, ideas and concepts but its sort of pushes the view to be more critical on this kind of stories.
For eg ; the point where the figures runs in zig zags is a little confusing. Was it running away - showing off - confused etc?? I was hoping that the witness could elaborate a little more on its precise movements. From what I recall it disappeared from sight in the grove of saplings . Although the witness keep stating that it 'just disappeared! "
Was it running away from the witness or was it parading? I guess the story is just that - a recount of an event. But I guess there could be more detailed squeezed out of it.
But the AYR guys do a superb job in bringing these reports out so we can digest them and talk about them.

I think there is over 100 of these reports now on that channel.

Maybe the little hairy and horses are familiar with each other if hes been hanging around properties in the area. The zig zagging could be a game or something he plays with the horses. About the only sense i can make out of it. She seems like a nice lady, maybe the little guy was just showing off or "parading" as Chris put it.?

And yeah Wampa1, its a very interesting encounter with the dissapearing etc thats for sure. I hope Dean and Paul have some more off the wall type reports lined up.

When I heard of I tell zigzagging, the first thing that came to mind was that is how soldiers are taught to run to throw off the aim of a marksman.

What about those reports from the USA where sasquatch are believed to be platting horses' manes? Sounds unlikely to me.
Bear and Coonbo explain this phenomenon in one of the Bigfoot Outlaws shows.
Apparently the 'platting' is a result of randy big foots twisting their fingers into the mane to get a good grip in order to stop the horse biting them while they have their wicked ways with them. (scared)

"Neigh" sayer  I laughed so hard im now feeling a little horse.

Wolf mentions the zig zagging as similar to military training. It is possible this little hairy could be part of a covert mlitary operation.

Couldve been a manhole in those brushes (where the little guy dissapeared) leading to an underground base. (tank) (taz)....or maybe he just dissapeared like she says. Not the first time this dissapearing has been reported.

Same running style thats been described a few times as well. Like an olympic sprinter i think the dorrigo report says or compared to Usain Bolt.

to me, most stories of encounters with these little guys reminds me of young children running around and playing with humans/animals.

Hi Wampa
Yes they seem to be a bit cheeky when it comes to human. Ive read reports of them challenging people as well and being quite aggressive at times.

One fellow told me how they follow him and his family on walks and looking out from behind trees like theyre playing peek a boo or hide and seek. He was quite interested in the little guys and now says theyre dodgy and doesnt sound fond of them at all!

This blokes(#47) accounts are amazing. Imagine waking up with one staring at you. No thanks!

Yep i reckon its more a detailed and accurate account than the written ones.

I know im terrible but i love to hear the amazement, confusion and sometimes terror in the encountees voice.

Id say the psychological ramifications of seeing our hairy man would affect different types of people in many ways they are probably not even aware of.

It's not awful - I reckon it gives me more insight into what happened to hear these things directly from a witness than it does reading words on a page.

Yes - hearing the voices on the recordings give some depth to the reports and you can sense if its bs or not -

Plus that funky music at the start gets you going everytime !!!! (jest) (claps)

And being of a "certain age" I sometimes have trouble with my bowel control as it is.
You probably wouldnt notice till afterwards if thats any consolation... (eek)

I dunno if i can tell if theyre fibbin or not but some of them i doubt you could make up. Sure is a lot of similar reports though of the same behavior. How do you explain something that you didnt know existed and have no reference for ?

Report #112 is interesting. The guy seems sincere. I wonder why he can't contact Dave, the friend who saw it with him? Is Dave deceased?

His description of how this thing evaded his gaze was an interesting detail. It was also intriguing that he noted the difference in colour between the hair on the head and the hair on the body. 1989 is some time ago, but this event obviously left an impression on the witness.

I think Paul would have interviewed close to 150 witnesses for us at this stage and there are still many yet to be processed. We have 112 up, however we won't be adding them all.

Out of what we have contributed, we hope they are useful for your own research and interest.

These reports are some of the most interesting stuff on the net.
Great thing is there is no visual distractions and over the top indulgence. Your forced to listen to the story and use your mind to picture the event, concerntrate on the witnesses voice and manner. You can actually hear the story first hand almost without the constant sell job that other parties use.
And the great thing these events happen in our very own backyard which can prompt the listener to relate to their surrounding bush and even inspire the listener to investigate the area also.

Don't stop posting them Dean!!
