Interesting Video on YouTube
Hello Everyone, this is my first post here on the forum and I am just looking for some general feedback and opinions on a interesting video I can across.
The video is on YouTube called: Bigfoot DOWN UNDER
It shows a suspected Yowie messing around in a persons front yard in the blue mountains, hiding behind some bushes etc, then it precedes to take a big swipe at the persons cat.
I have watched this video over and over and over again.... I just find it so intriguing.
So check it out and please let me know all your opinions.

Re: Interesting Video on YouTube
My two cents is that it's very clearly a person in a suit - the dog seems to be wanting to play with them and isn't being hostile, so I assume the dog recognises them.

Thanks for your input mate. In my opinion the being is very very large and doesn't move like a human. Also that arm is massive when it seats at the cat... Not dog.Simon M wrote:My two cents is that it's very clearly a person in a suit - the dog seems to be wanting to play with them and isn't being hostile, so I assume the dog recognises them.

Re: Interesting Video on YouTube
Sorry but I wouldn't use this one as it's visual quality is C or D grade at best. It's just a curiosity.
Unfortunately like most other videos of this sort it is super blurry, which I wouldn't really expect in suburbia from such a close distance.
It is very unsteady as well and not to mention suddenly cut short. Where is the rest of it?
Stuff like this without context just does more harm than good I feel. How can anyone be sure of anything in that footage?
You can say it seems to have long arms but you can't prove it is not human with a funky Halloween costume because the resolution is not there.
Unless that cat is a giant, the overall size is not that large either - no larger than an average adult human.

Thank you Trevor, your right. Hard to get any real info off it, just interesting

Uh no, sorry, definitely AGIABMS (leave you to translate). In the still at the end this is clearly fake - no bulk or muscle definition and the arm is particularly scrawny, besides it's not "very large".Trip5Six wrote:Thanks for your input mate. Re: Interesting Video on YouTube
I'm not sure why you say it doesn't move like a human though....it's clearly a person in a suit. Hollywood special effects people have been faking longer than human forearms for decades - I recall watching the making of a movie called 'Congo' years and years ago; they just have extensions they wear on a bracelet with padded gloves on the end, the whole extension covered by foam and the furry suit - impossible to notice even on a movie screen much less on a home video in low resolution.Trip5Six wrote: Thanks for your input mate. And it looks like a person in a suit.
And that's clearly a dog...it's doesn't move like a cat, etc.

I agree 100% with your expert analysis and agree that this is the same creature as can be seen with the....pet....in the video.Boab Bob wrote:https://www.costumecollection.com.au/ad ... utfit.html

Just because I'm bored today I took a look at the vid, slowed it down and partially stabilized it.

Re: Interesting Video on YouTube
That's excellent work...and yeah, it confirms that it's a person in a suit (this means I am a dismissive person, I know....).
I suppose it gets them likes on their YouTube channel or whatever, but with so much of this stuff out there you'd think people would take more pride in their attempted fakery.
