That man is a true statesman. We have not had a leader of honour in my lifetime, sadly. I am impressed with him, especially as he fends the barrage of media manure.

He is an excellent example of how to speak truth to power.

Sadly the concept of honour and truth telling seems to have disappeared from our society, at least from those who would claim to 'lead'.

The 'men' have gone. Today's 'man' is rare and those who could be deserving of the term hide thier faces behind tribalism in the form of sport, to do otherwise is to be attacked by a social order which prefers Homer Simpson to be the example of 'man' boys aspire to be.

Name me one example of a 'real man' boys have been able to use as role models since the 80's or even earlier... I certainly cannot hunk of a single one.

Thank god my father was the man he was. I consider myself very lucky to have had such a role model growing up.
