Just finished working on an intro for my site, which I will use when I get around to narrating some of my scribblings for Youtube.
What do you guys think?

I freaking love it! We might think we are all that walks this land on two feet, but we'd be wrong... and this illustrates how close our Hairy Folk can be to our worlds...

The hairy people are a breath away.
Great visuals, but an over-emphasis on the monster in the dark perspective, I feel. Not so great sound track, which sounds like it's been lifted from a typical CW tv show.
I thought you were Australian, Wolf? Why are you writing fictionalized pieces about an American myth?

Bugger.... I never even realised it was a video... I just liked the image in the screencap Wolf put up. Sorry about that, but I didn't get half the idea I should have if I'd watched the vid.
Having said that, after I DID watch it, I couldn't really hear what was being said at all, it was too low and the music didn't help, but I am hard of hearing, so maybe that's not the case for others.
Artwork is sensational, though, 10 out of 10

As expected, drawings in the video are really excellent! However, to be honest, the sound needs a bit of work. The way the V/O is tweaked, It's hard to understand and the mix also needs attention. Mate... you've been in the TV production business (as I've been for decades, producing many 1000's of TV commercials and docos) so I know you will understand where I'm coming from.
Just constructive stuff. Keep up the good work!

Re: New Intro for Sasquatch Sagas
Thanks everybody for the feedback.
I recorded the voiceover with a bad cold and tried to fix it with an echo effect that made it worse. Sadly I did it to the source file so uploaded it anyway.
As soon as my cold has passed I will re-record it with shorter sentences in the script as well.

Interesting you didn't like the soundtrack... I've always loved it since Wes used it for his original podcast. I missed it when he changed to what he uses now for Sasquatch Chronicles and noted many of his fans missed it too. For me it has exactly the right amount of tension and pace. It's a Daft Punk piece called Outlnds originally created for the movie Tron, so is copyrighted... which means I can use it but cannot monetise any YouTube videos that use it (I don't plan on doing many anyway).Black wrote: Fri May 25, 2018 12:26 pm The hairy people are a breath away.

Firstly, I don't believe it is a myth, secondly, I was inspired to present the 'monster's' viewpoint BECAUSE of the attitude displayed by so many in America... "Kill em all and let God sort it out."Black wrote: Fri May 25, 2018 12:26 pm I thought you were Australian, Wolf? Why are you writing fictionalized pieces about an American myth?
Although I have never knowingly had an 'experience' I believe them to be very real and just like any animal, they deserve respect and life. Hopefully by presenting stories told from the 'monster's' perspective I can generate some compassion, understanding, and most importantly, acceptance of them. And in so doing just maybe prevent a potential tragedy from occurring in the future.
(like the well-known shooting incident broadcast on the Art Bell show some years back wherein 3 hunters shot at a male, tracked it and found a female with the now deceased body and shot her too.)
