Is this new 2018 sighting?

I went to St George before, 200kms south of Roma.

Carnavon Gorge is not far to the Norrh. Countless Sightings to the East towards the Sunshine Coast.

There may be, Al, but there seem to be some bloody big ones, too!
If the witness from north of Injune can be believed, the one he saw was huge!
And that's not so far from this sighting.
I would love to get up that way for a look one day, but the chances of actually seeing one would be like winning Powerball.
There are people who live their entire lives in the area and never see one.

Just thinking out loud, here, but even though there seem to be big 'uns and little 'uns, I would think from an environmental point of view, that smaller would be better in an area with less food and water resources, shelter, or if you've been turfed out of more choice habitat by your bigger cousins. Also, given less tree cover, stone caves or fissures may provide decent cover and shelter that the big hairies can't access.

It could just be a young yowie or a large Junjudee. The reports have the Junjudee at between 2-5ft and between 2-4ft. Kuritjah only 1 ft tall. Would love to know for sure how many types are out there!
