The Bearded Lady - Uki Yowie Report
Finished writing this Report from Uki today. We received the Report on the night of the Sighting in March (2018). We will do the Audio Report soon.
It mentions the Yowie had breasts, along with a Beard. We have quite a few Uki Reports in our Files. Mount Jerusalem seems to be where steer clear of, or go to...
....................
Location: Uki, New South Wales (Mt. Jerusalem National Park)
Event: Yowie Sighting
Date: 5th March, 2018
Time: 6.30pm
It was after Cricket Training at around 6.30pm and I was driving back from Uki to Mullumbimby and detoured along a dirt road and went over a cow crossing when I needed to pull over to have a pee. There was an area where a bulldozer had pushed down trees on the side of the road to make a clearing next to a valley, so I pulled over there.
I had finished my wee and heard something around me and didn’t know what it was. I did a howl to see if was a feral dog and what not, and I got a response. I did some more howling and I got more back. Then I got a growl and a grunting, so I got my Cricket Bat out.
When it started doing tree knocking back at me, I though Oh yeah, it’s someone playing silly buggers with me, but there’s no houses out there, it’s just bush. I thought it must have been some smart ass out there playing a joke on me.
It knocked twice, so I knocked back twice. I knocked again, and it did the same back. I thought stuff this and did a howl and a scream – that’s when everything went Pear shaped.....
I heard thumping coming down the hill into the gully in front of me. At first I thought it was Kangaroo, but I’ve never heard anything that heavy before. It was like the ground was moving underneath me. It went down the hill into the gully then come up the gully towards me. I was like, what have I got myself into. It was now about 10 metres in front of me coming up this hill, a steep embankment, and I had really bad vibes from this thing. I heard a scream, grunt and growl all in one. I jumped in my car turned my high beams on and there it was standing in front of me.
I know it was no person in a suit. It was standing on the fire trail, 6 to 7ft tall and full of hair and it had breasts. I went for my phone to take a photo of it. I didn’t take my eyes of it when I was reaching for the phone, and then off she went. Back down into the gully. It was scary.
There has been a lot of talk in the past about hunters having sightings in there and their hunting dogs running out with their ears back and tails between their legs.
When it was in my headlights, it was 6 to 7ft, it had a face with eyes about golf ball size, it had really long hair which as a guess would have been about 5” long. It was just standing there staring at me. When I was reaching for my phone, I saw that its hands were all the way down towards its knees. I’m 6 foot - 7 inches, and my arms don’t come down near my knees. The arms were huge.
It wasn’t a person in a suit. It had breasts. I wish I had got a photo. I really wish I had got a photo. It had hair down its cleavage and hair around and on top of its breasts. Some parts of the breasts had hair and some parts without hair.
The hair colour was a light brown, but the skin colour was blacker. The hair around the face was a light brown. The hair around the hands was black. The rest was light to darkish brown. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen.
I told my friends about it today and they said I am full of it. I said I saw what I saw. I wish I had got a photo to show everyone what I saw.
The face was like a Gorillas face. Instead of being round like a Human face, this was more of an oval size. It had big golf ball size eyes. Most Reports you read tell of red eyes, but these were reddish-blue and they lit up with my light bar on. It had a nose that looked pushed in type of thing. It had a beard, and hair over its top lip. One thing I found strange about it was the mouth. The Human mouth is small, this one’s mouth was 5 to 7” long. It had a big mouth on it. I didn’t see any teeth because its mouth wasn’t open.
It was standing there swaying side to side. It was behind a fern, but over towering the fern and going from side to side. It had its hands down and just doing the side to side motion.
When I reached my phone, it must have seen it light up or something, because it just took off down the valley. I didn’t get a chance for a photo. As I went for the button, off she went down the hill.

Excellent report
This person obviously had an interest in Yowies previously to this encounter as he/she got out the cricket bat to do tree knocking and or to protect his/her self it would seem.
The swaying I hear in a few reports also.
Was there not a somewhat violent encounter in or around Mt Jerusalem years ago that I am recalling?
Ahhh.... dont worry found it. http://www.yowiehunters.com.au/index.ph ... wales-2007

Wow great sighting. Interesting what the witness says about the big mouth. I noticed that too. Makes me wonder if doing a howl or scream, woodknocks etc is such a good idea!

Bloody hell, that would have been a brown undies moment... interesting about the noted 'swaying from side to side while standing otherwise motionless' part. Seem to have read/heard this in several witness reports. The hair colour description too was great.

Great report.
Dean, do you mind if I post it on Sasquatch Chronicles members-only forum? (With appropriate links of course, including the YouTube link once it's uploaded)
It'll help get your channel (and this site) some eyeballs?

Problem I have with this report is that the date and time given it is still daylight in that location. And yet he mentions headlights.....

Hi Rastus,
I may revise the actual Sighting time. What he said was, he didn’t note the time, but said it was after Cricket Training which would have put him on the road driving around 6.30
If he was in amoung the mountains and Valleys under a blanket of tall trees between 6.30 and 7, the sun would be blocked out by that time of night. It’s a lot darker in there than suburbia.

Wes pinched one of our Reports last year and added it to his SC site with Narration. It was very good. He puts a lot of work into his Websites.

Could that be possible the female yowie thought it was a mating call?
She seemed to be rather upset but not taking any aggressive action.

Re: The Bearded Lady - Uki Yowie Report
My only issue with the report (and it's a good one, otherwise .. very good!), is that the guy was already familiar with the field. Always a red flag, for me. So few people are actually aware of this thing, yet the guy who inadvertently (not while yowie hunting) has one of the best encounters on record, just happens to be one of them. Hmmm.
Still, stranger things have happened.

Fair enough Dean, I think that is entirely plausible. Now I think further on it on Barrengary Mountain not too far from where I live in the Shoalhaven there is a part of the road on the south facing side that is heavily forested and one section in particular inside the tree line looks very dark and gloomy even at mid day.
That part about the headlights just immediately jumped out at me but as I think about it I can see that it is possible in situations / locations like this.
I stand corrected

To further emphasise my point above here is a google strret view link that looks like it was shot around 10am-ish due to the suns location. If you look left to where the brick and concrete Shoalhaven sign is you can see the dark rainforest behind it. It is like that even on the brightest of days at midday so 6:30-7PM as in the story , if it is like this area I described, then i agree it could get very dark at those times. One of these days I am going to stop and go for a walk around in there.

That's the problem with 'article of faith' rules and regulations. No one knows whether they smell or not, so why is it important? Like eye shine, and no neck, and pointy heads, and tree knocks, and stick structures, etc etc etc. All of it is just a mishmash of myths, and a good side helping of that damned PGF.micathia wrote: Tue Aug 14, 2018 3:06 pm

What if they don't smell, have round heads, normal necks, don't knock on trees, and don't build stick structures? Would we not know what they were, because they're not adhering to a bunch of assumed 'parameters'?

Im sure Ayr wouldn't hand us a bs story. Theyre very experienced with the encounters. Ill admit its a weird one though. Tree knocks with a cricket bat etc and a bearded female yowie is over the top but we cant rule it out just because he knows about yowies. If he lives out that way then hes bound to have heard all about them.inthedark wrote: Thu Aug 16, 2018 2:30 pmThat's the problem with 'article of faith' rules and regulations. Re: The Bearded Lady - Uki Yowie Report
It’s odd that with all the yowie descriptions over the years from interviews and reports, gender is rarely mentioned.
I suppose a witness who sees a departing Yowie from the waist up would assume it’s male because of its size.
The report from Kyogle in the 1970’s of the lady on her back verandah is the most vivid you’ll find regarding gender.

Agree. Judging by the consistency of honesty in the audios, the reports appear to be very well vetted. Which is exactly why I joined this forum!Yowie bait wrote: Thu Aug 16, 2018 5:23 pm

Having said that, I can't get past the sheer unlikeliness of this encounter - if the guy was indeed, already a believer/seeker. The odds are so astronomically against it, that rationality demands skepticism. Had he known nothing of Yowie, or was a firm non-believer, then I'd be far more willing to consider it an actual event.

Re: The Bearded Lady - Uki Yowie Report
That report is mystifying. I'm still puzzled by it, for a number of reasons.Tuckeroo wrote: Thu Aug 16, 2018 6:49 pm Sorry my mistake......at Woodenbong not Kyogle. AYR audio report #01

Was it a monkey suit, and part of an ongoing 'town prank' by bored local youth? Was the lady in question prone to dramatics? Or was it a bizarre infestation of an urban environment by huge and not-very-shy cryptids?

Re: The Bearded Lady - Uki Yowie Report
Yowie Bait, AYR doesn't do bogus anything. We simply Report the Encounters directly from the Witness. There are countless which never make it to our Site.
Paul Cropper conducted the main interview for us. I have personally had several personal follow ups with the Witness. He seems genuine.
It was a case of 'Careful of what you wish for'. As some others have previously and correctly said, warning bells arise when someone already had prior knowledge of the Yowie.... then something happens. In this case, according to the Witness, it was precisely what happened. He had taken a detour deeper into the forest and pulled over for a call of nature. He then took this opportunely whilst out of the car to make some curious noises, in which he says, sparked a response, then the rest pursued as stated in the Report. He went on to say in further conversations that it smelt like 5 day old road kill.
The area does have a History. There is an Aboriginal Elder who has made several comments on our Facebook regarding Uki and the Yowie that were quite insightful.
The story is unique in terms of the description being a female Yowie with breasts and a beard. As mentioned there was the 1977 Woodenbong incident (Jean Maloney), where she said "Yes, he was a male alright" (and was clearly quite impressed), and the other being Geoff Nelson who I had interviewed. Geoff laughingly commented "Well, lets just say, he certainly had nothing to brag about". Most Reports state Male Yowies, so again, this is rather unique.
