Cattle mutilations in Mackay - 'surgical' precision

Unread post by Shazzoir »

It's an oft-repeated sentiment, often attributed to UFO visitation... you be the judge.

Hi Shaz, similar thing happened in Kentucky a week or so ago , from memory , 3 x horses , 2x large dogs and a sheep all slashed and killed on the same night on the same property , no sign of a struggle or the animals trying to escape , it was initially thought a bear or mountain lion but with no struggle signs they are stumped

Hey Greg :)

Having been raised on a fairly steady diet of UFO and Cryptid paperbacks since the late 70's, I've read several accounts of animal mutilations exactly as described in this article, mostly in the US. Seeing such a thing occur again relatively close to home puts the wind up me a bit. Let me know if you or your mate find anything or have any new discoveries. Scary stuff, really. Nobody likes to see this sort of thing, and there's always the thought at the back of the mind 'Could be a person, next'....

Cheers

I read loads of that stuff as well, and always thought the idea it was some sort of weird cult-related activity was plausible. Not that it's any less creepy or horrible, but it's possible. Animal sacrifice has been practised since the dawn of humanity so the idea that it's people performing some weird ceremony always seemed more likely (to me). Either way, it's extremely disturbing.
