Crocodile Hunter R.I.P

Unread post by Steve Mason »

THE Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is dead.

He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It is understood he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest.

He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that's when it occured.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality this morning at Batt Reef off Port Douglas.
And that's all I have to say about that.

One of the greatest Australian Icons. AND at this stage his wife Terri doesn't know yet, as she is in Tasmania mountain trekking.

A huge loss for Australia.

REQUEIM for Croc Hunter STEVE IRWIN

Unread post by boojumjo »

Hey people,

Just wanted to say how sad I am to hear about Steve Irwin's death today. Nomatter what anyone says about him, I still think he's one of the world's best naturalists. With his own rare, brand of passion, he has managed to bring a whole new generation of kids on to the right side of conservation.

Souls like his are so few & far between. And now we have one less. The world is a far poorer place today :( :( :(

always,
jo

It's really a terrible thing for him to loose his life this way!

He was close enough many times in his life and this time he lost his life. He was quite the character and REALLY loved animals!

I hope his family will be ok through this sad time.

WE ALL LOVED HIM in the USA!
