It would be interesting to see the original photo (not the scan from the newspaper) blown up.

I was driving through the Strzlecki hills on Sunday with the family, on the Western side of Gippsland. It certainly is some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen.

The hills get bushier and wilder further over to the East past Mt Worth State park. Perfect Yowie country. Plenty of water, game and bush. Even where the land is cleared, its very remote. Being Nocturnal, a yowie is unlikely to be seen. The Yaram sighting was a good piece of luck.

You used to be able to hire a gypsy caravan with horses and drive yourself through the Strzlecki national Park, the owners would turn up in the morning and evenng to see to the horses needs. Chris and I have always wanted to do this. I think that it would be a great oppitunity to see anything unusual out there, as you could take a weekend or a week, no engine noises, or music ect...no electricity, and the smell of the horses would hopefully cover the smell of humans. Still might get around to it, were not dead yet! LOL!
