Trail cam Bigfoot? - image and video

Unread post by Shazzoir »

According to reports, a US hunter captured what many believe is Bigfoot on one of his trail cams. The details surrounding the potential bigfoot sighting are few and it’s unknown as to exactly when it was taken but the photo alone is certainly worth examining. The figure on left is reportedly the hunter making his way to a ladder stand in the woods. Then there seems to be a set of glowing eyes from what looks to be a large bipedal figure on the right.

It's an interesting image. As ever, there's no way of proving what it is or isn't but if the hunter himself tripped the camera he'd just set, it means the unidentified figure was very close to him and simply didn't have time to get 'out of shot' without revealing their presence (presumably if they'd taken off at a run the hunter would've heard it and been alerted to them being there). As the guy doing the video mentions, the conventional belief is that these cryptids can somehow detect and avoid trail cameras, but if this image is genuine it definitely adds weight to the theory that these are flesh-and-blood creatures which are simply much more intelligent, self-aware and resourceful than we like to give them credit for. They may avoid cameras because they smell human beings on them or in the areas where people have placed them, or they may be able to understand (based on their own observations of our behaviour) that the camera is a means of gathering information.

If the OP of the image is telling the truth and he didn't know the figure was there then it's even more interesting in terms of what we know (anecdotally) about these things observing/tracking people at very close range without their human quarry being aware of it.

Good one, Shaz!

The head is tiny.
Even compared to the hunter, the Squatch's head is smaller when its body looks to be bulkier - bigger.
The head should be bigger than the hunters head.

I'm usually intrigued when eyeshine looks as if it's coming from a creature with two forward facing eyes, rather than most mammals which have eyes on the sides of their head, and which present a different shape of head which usually reveals ears. In this case, I see nothing that could be ears, and what appears to be two forward facing eyes... Could be an owl, though, but unlikely.

Interesting photo. The subjects head does look tiny. To me it looks like the hunter has his head slightly turned to his right, i wonder if he heard a noise in the direction of whatever it is? Dee
