Yowie acknowledgment...

Unread post by NathanRam »

Gday folks!
Im new here (Duh). Thoroughly enjoying reading the forum and learning from some more experienced folks.
Thanks for having me! :D

I come bearing a question open for discussion, please excuse me if this has been a topic on several occasion.

Why is yowie information suppressed by authorities? It has me stumped why there are so many witnesses yet they hardly get a mention.
Quite often i think of thermal imaging used by police and army to track offenders in the bush (namely Malcom Naden), surely they would have seen something whilst covering so much bushland!
Love to here peoples opinion on this topic.
Cheers!

Yes, it has been much discussed many times.

IMO it is a catch22 situation...
Historically the existence of another member of the Homo genus contradicted the established power of the church via the evidence finalising the evolution debate.
Add to this element big$ that back then was profiting of the timber industry AND the 'accepted rascism' which naturally gave no importance to yet another 'race no better than animals' AND the infrequency of encounters due to their illusiveness and you have a recipe for 'encouraged ignorance' of the topic.

Now many years later Big Brother is in a bind... if they came out and admitted they knew of Sasquatch all this time (no matter which country) the resulting law suits would swamp and possibly even bankrupt the government as relatives of missing people would see government as responsible for their loved ones' disappearance.

Just my five cents worth (after taxes). (cheers)

Hi and welcome,

My opinion on it is that the information suppressed at the ground level due to both cultural and scientific reasons.
As yowies/bigfoot haven't been proven to exist by the scientific community and people who have had an experience are ridiculed there is apprehension in putting yourself out there and say hey I saw Yowie/bigfoot.

Police officers are career driven and they work hard to establish respect from their peers and community, and due to the culture of the police force it is pretty much career suicide to expose yourself to easy ridicule from non-believer superiors.

And if you want to look at it from another angle, if the police are assigned a job to come out to a disturbance on a property and the witness states they saw a yowie/bigfoot - 1, the witness might be labeled "crazy" for even suggesting yowie/bigfoot 2, the police officers will be labeled "crazy" for suggesting yowie/bigfoot. So the report rather than stating it was a yowie/bigfoot will just say unknown suspect / unknown animal and the case will be closed, which would make trying to find information within police reports on encounters difficult.

Suppressed or Ignored? Personally I think a bit of both, there are no bodies or bones (that have been officially recognised) nothing to prove that Yowie's actually exist at all really. Therefore the urgency to suppress is not needed, but more ignore, the only real evidence we have are eye witness reports and that doesnt prove anything exists, it just adds weight to the mythical creature debate. So until a body is recovered science wont recognise anything. Its also ignored by authorities because there is nothing to gain by proving the existence of them, while most of the population remains dumb, heads in the TV or Phone..... idling the hours away at useless c**p no one will see the light. Like the above comments, i think acknowledgment of the Yowie or "Tassie" Tigers would be a huge inconvenience for the Miners, developers and the establishment in general. Much like Indigenous people and endangered species are an inconvenience to the loggers in the Amazon. Its all about the dollars!

I also think a lot of these elite types know all about them. They would have to so they know to ridicule it when bought up.

I find mentioning it and pretending to not know about it gets some interesting answers. I had a judge slip up big time when i mentioned how Id heard that Yowies were seen in the forest near his mansion fringing the mountains. He said " oh they dont come down this far" before stumbling and correcting himself with " preposterous" or something similar to which i agreed of course. (lol)

Whats even funnier when you do know the truth and these idiots..sorry i mean the uninformed masses tell us that the Yowie doesnt exist before the usual mocking and ridicule kicks in. Meanwhile they fill there heads with b.s scripted reality shows and fake news, silly trends and music. Gotta fit in and all that! Haha!

The Yowie community doesnt help itself either with the disagreements on the origins and hoaxing etc. No one really has to debunk anything as its all naturally taken care of!

No one in the government, military or scientific fields are ever going to acknowledge the existence of Yowies, Bigfoot or any other cryptid although I do believe they know they are real. and who can blame them? as Dion says no bones no bodies inconclusive hair samples in all no evidence of their reality not even any clear video.
After at least 400 years of their known continuance and increasing sightings we are still not able to contain a single creature and in my opinion, never will.
Thousands of people worldwide have had physical contact with Yowie/Bigfoot/Dogman and yet we still refuse or more to the point the authorities refuse to acknowledge these cryptids. We know they do exist.
What will be required is a full on attack on mankind before the stupid powers that be recognize them as real and I believe this will happen in the future but in the meantime, we will continue to be kept in the dark. (detective)

Twenty years ago when I knew things

I haven’t seen this in a long time. Wow. Rocky start to the video. Interesting recollections towards the end.

Great video.
Those encounters are slightly chilling.
