I don't recommend it.
Yes Black thats it. Ive only heard about it. Its a shame there is nothing clear for us all to see. I think it would help maybe if people could at least see what the yowie looks like and its a real shame there is nothing definite publicly available. May stop some of this paeredoilia that circulates among the community.

Yeah , I was working on a 3% chance of seeing one .
8% chance of hearing one , IE stomping , bipedal activity .
2 % chance of hearing a real call .

It wasn't confidence based . Assuming I've been into the forest 100 times I've seen what I believe to be a yowie on 3 seperate occasions . This equals a 3% chance of seeing a yowie .

I've heard stomping and bipedal activity in a live situation around 8 times = an 8% chance .

And I've only ever heard two calls live (barking and whistles) that I thought were yowie related . = a 2% chance . :)

I saw enough on those 3 occassions to understand that it's no monkey that we're looking for .

If your out in the forest enough times you'll see it for yourself . I'm not saying anything else . :)

So, theoretically Rusty, if a researcher were to visit a "hotspot" twice a week for the next year, under my calculations that researcher should have at least one anecdotal account being a visual sighting. Under your calculations, that same researcher is likely to have at least 3 visual sightings.

What's the list of hotspots? :?
