Sasquatch program on SBS tonight.
On SBS's N.I.T.V Channel tonight there is a Program about Sasquatch called "Sasquatch'n. About the Native Americans and what they know and to uncover knowledge about the Sasquatch. Airs 7.30pm.

That was a good show. Interesting links between the indigenous perspective over there and over here.
The environmental angle was also a familiar one with them being described as protectors of the land, etc.
I'm still never going to accept the whole 'portal' concept or the supernatural stuff. The supernatural aspects of these things are just natural aspects of them which we don't know how to explain yet because we lack the knowledge or the context to do so. That's my take on it. I can accept that these creatures have a place within the cultural beliefs of indigenous people and that ascribing religious or mystical attributes to them is no different to Western culture ascribing religious or mystical attributes to Saints, particular locations or holy relics.
The supernatural ideas are a cultural perspective, in my view, not a proven fact.
It was enjoyable to watch, though. Thanks for mentioning it here.

Good program I was leaning toward the supernatural prospective and it was good to here different cultures point of view.
