“Abstract
Originally a figure of folklore, the European wildman gained prominence as a literary and artistic figure in the late Middle Ages, and in this form has commonly been interpreted as exercising a definite influence on later European representations of non-western peoples, non-human primates, and pre-sapiens hominids. Comparing the European image with wildman images encountered among indigenous peoples outside of Europe, this essay comprises a critical review of such arguments.”

Re: The Wildman of Europe
OK but maybe the Yowies followed the humans in their immigration, like as shadows, and they have evolved to match their climates, like us humans(or yowies)
