Movie "Throwback"

Unread post by rowbe »

For those who are interested, the movie "Throwback" that Dean mentioned some time back was on channel 7 late Saturday night. I believe you can now watch it on 7 plus (if you can stream). Australian movie about a Yowie creating havoc in the bush. Great scenery, bit B grade but heh it has a yowie.

That wasn't a bad movie. Vernon Wells is in it. You probably remember him from Mad Max 2.

I enjoyed the movie, but could not stay awake to see it all, the movie started after midnight. I'm glad it is on 7plus so I can watch the end (from the beginning). Seems to contain many typical yowie signs, bedding nest, eye shine, etc. Also an interesting story. My only criticism is the Yowie moves slow - not what we expect. I won't give the story away, but I thought Vernon Wells would have lasted longer. Thanks Dean for letting us know of the movie, otherwise I would not have thought to watch it.

Is that the one where the Yowie cannot cross water?

... If so, I found it rather pathetic as a movie/
