more than likely a possible sighting

where: Childers 4660
When Sunday 21/7/19 1530 ish
Weather: clear light cloud
Bush type: open wooded, to over grown creeks
people in group: 3x 4wds, 2 male adult, 2 female adults, 1 baby, 2 female children, 1 dog
my partner was the witness
we were checking boundary fences of a property (454ac) we have cattle on. The property has state forest on two sides.
at one of the last corner posts we were checking myself and my buddy walked the 120m down a old 4wd track and proceeded down into the creek to see for cattle prints (none found), however i found a foot print the size of my boot 9 1/2 . my mate was 1min behind me because he grabbed his rifle, when he arrived i asked him what it looked like to him..... with no pause he said a foot print and he found a print leading to the one i found. the prints were roughly 1200mm apart in creek sand so no detailed signs.

we then tracked the creek into the state forest with no other signs but a lot of off tracks... due to logs the cattle wouldn't be able to get through the creek.

we then went back the same way we came.

1 female stayed in the middle 4wd.
in this same time my partner and kids were sitting in the 4wd. the dog was whimpering (a vocal dog at the best of times, we have never heard a frightened vocal from her so we can not tell what type of whimper it was). the baby was crying so my partner walked around to his door, got him out, walked back to the drivers seat and began to breast feed him.

while she sat there her eyes caught something black like wearing a jacket to her 90* right 100m ish away walk between two trees and disappear.
she dismissed it as my mate walking down to me ie because he was 1min behind me and the main track curves that direction.

later that night i stated i found a foot print in the creek. then i was told all of her account. that day i was wearing hivis shirt and my mate was in a green and yellow shirt with yellow from the armpits to the waist. also he had his rifle on his shoulder, and we where directly in front of her but at a lower elevation so no way of seeing where we were.once i brought this to her attention she flat out said it wasn't Aaron she saw then.

on this property i have already experience the signs of a yowie being around multiple times.
ive seen them and heard them. my buddy has heard them, my partner has always believed but always wanted to see the evidence. now im so happy she has had a possible sighting.

Does sound like it could have been Yowie especially if there were footprints found, did you happen to take any photos of the Prints?

How long was the baby crying for? If it was a yowie then it may have been drawn to the sound of the crying infant.
