If this is a measureable question. 3 Yowie hotspots in Australia. The most likely areas to be a witness?

You just got to be in the right place at the right time..
You will have more luck driving & seeing one.

Blue Mountains

Bega head west

Gold Coast

Sunshine Coast

Hot Spots?
ANYwhere there is plenty of tucker, water, and bush to hide for the day.
If you're in SE Qld, check out the border ranges and/or area around Glasshouse mountains, Conondale or other ranges surrounding Maleny... but in all seriousness, you require one thing above all else if you want to see one in your lifetime... incredible luck. Whether good or bad depends on your perspective... Be careful what you wish for.
