Decades after the last captive thylacine died, the hunt for the Tasmanian tiger is still very much alive. This ABC article is up to date and very detailed. It is one of the best I've read.

Col Bailey wrote a good book " Shadow of the Thylacine " . a really good read if you have a lazy weekend
