Thanks for the link for that video, will definitely check it out, just havent had a chance to yet.Titla wrote: Fri Sep 06, 2019 4:21 amI can see how it comes across. You have to listen to his channel (Jerry Cline) to see why he might be whinging like that. Somewhat on the slow simple side but to me doesn't seem to have it in him to be an intentional hoaxer.BushcraftAndCampingA wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2019 8:59 pmOK listened to all but the last few minutes of the raw 911 call - wont lie - he sounds completely off his head. Drunk or something. Given that to be somewhat clear in the audio, im not sure how much credit can be given to it. YOu can hear something banging on the trailer, but who knows how far people would go to hoax things. YEh im not entirely sold on this one.Titla wrote: Thu Sep 05, 2019 4:42 am Here is a YouTube video about Jerry Cline's frightening encounter after habituation attempts. He had been habituating these particular bigfoot with food, then decided to stop bringing food but still go out there, at which time 2 bigfoot rocked his camper trailer in the middle of the night with him in it until the police got out there.
This video includes snippets of the actual 911 call in which Cline was in absolute hysterics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yat8Hv4Cr3U
Here is an uncut version of the 911 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i18kjHSOAZM
Whether he was completely sloshed and creating something like having a nightmare I suppose is a possibility, but I think it's also possible it happened just as he was reporting. In his usual dealings he doesn't seem to have a crazy subconscious paranoia of bigfoot to warrant creating a scenario like that. He loves bigfoots and going out there bigfooting a lot and is seasoned with a lot of field experience. I can't see him subconsciously looking for excuses that would affect his ability to enjoy his number one hobby, and that incident did affect his ability to be able to go out bigfooting in that particular spot. This is also not a regular occurence from Jerry Cline, there's no pattern of him going off like that.
The pushy bigfoot behaviour is also consistent with other reports where people have stopped providing food. If a true accounting, these 2 bigfoot were frustrated at having the food supply stopped lol.
"Sasquatch Ontario". On the following video link you'll find an overview of the habituators including the drawings and weavings. Incredible case this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK0gOhO_F48
In an hour ill be heading out Watagans NP for the weekend, will be leaving some passive items and filming it for my channel. Ill post some pics when i return. Pretty excited about it too.
So guys if i dont return, ill expect you all to come looking hahah. Have an enjoyable weekend all

If you want to be able to skip to a quick peek without watching the whole video, you can see drawings at timeframe 7:30 and some of the weavings at 14:30. They do weavings other than humanoid too like glyphs, and if I remember right, utility type shapes like bowls.
Don't worry, we'll all go looking for your bones if you happen to become Missing number 412 XD Joking of course! Have a great trip and I look forward to seeing some of your trip on video after you return, always interested to learn what others get up to in their field research as I guarantee are many others.

Craig below is a link with some sort of habituation record/instructional from a gent who's approach is apparently one of building positive, respectful trust that avoids all forms of trickery or the use of possibly aggravating methods of attraction, as he claims is often the case with practices such as woodknocking.

And if you want to hear the ultimate habituation story try this one for size, it'll blow your mind. The account deals with habituation on the very furthest end of the spectrum and tells a great deal about how close the relations and trust can be as well as how intelligent they really are. For aspiring habituators it's inspiring, a story of what is possible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8Hhk89DC-Y&t=3655s

Re: The Pines, Watagans: Are These Are Yowie Calls?
Returned from my trip midday today - no interactions but i did see some tree breaks and even a 'tripod'. Ive almost finished the video, so will post a thread when i upload it to YouTube.
I saw the images and stick figures - very cool. I made my own stick figure out of half a childs toy and some sticks/bark, placed it with a few other items under the tripod.
What do you think?

Hey this won't stand, you're not allowed to outdo me right from your very first field investigation! Tree break and tee pee structure!
I've noticed at least from North America that rough make-shift tee pee structures like that are commonly acknowledged hairy man creations. I can't see that one being natural.
Nice tree break too. Did you manage to measure the height of the tree break and tree diameter? Good work, you've hit the ground running.
I like the vest you made for the stick man too

That tree break was at approx 7-8 feet, diameter wouldve been approx 2 inches. There was a different tree break too, thicker diameter than this one. There was also a second teepee, that wasnt really a teepee, it was strange. Ill save that for the video lol, gotta give a little tease right
the video is ready to go now but not posting till the weekend - looking forward to the conversations it starts!

Oh Craig I forget to mention and I hope you don't mind but I've linked your video in a post on an Australia birdwatching forum as they have an "Identification Needed" section. I've asked if they're able to identify the calls as bird calls. None of those who have viewed the post so far have come forward to identify the calls, but we'll see.

I noticed some traffic to the video last night so id say people are checking it out, maybe no responses coz too quiet or coz no one can ID it as a bird - which is what we all secretly want anyway hahah

Apart from birds I'd also like to rule out any sort of mammal, although I think it's more likely to be a bird than a mammal.
A human call is another one to consider. I listened again and thought if it were a human call it's from a very practiced mouth, some kind of wildlife vocalization proficient.

I dont believe it was human or other mammal. bird call is possible but i think we may only get limited insight into that. will hopefully get more feedback once the video goes live

Re: The Pines, Watagans: Are These Are Yowie Calls?
Evening Craig, hope you had a good day. I had some discussions with some bird people from a bird identification facebook group this morning. It's an extremely active group that are all over identifying every bird that's put up. Your calls draw a complete blank on the bird front so I'm now more confident in ruling it out.BushcraftAndCampingA wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 4:44 pm I dont believe it was human or other mammal. bird call is possible but i think we may only get limited insight into that. will hopefully get more feedback once the video goes live
There was a bit of brainstorming by the group and the best suggestion was a fox. However looking up fox howls I still couldn't find any that were a good match, although two contained similarities. One of them was much too course to match your calls, and the other too high pitched (as if coming from a much smaller animal). The second I mentioned was the closest match of the two fox howls, here is an example at timeframe 2:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiqcfBH8GiM
Unfortunately you can't see the facebook discussion as my post disappeared, twice. First post I made last night only to find it gone from the page and my own activity feed after waking up this morning. I asked the group about it and was assured the post was within group guidelines and shouldn't have been deleted by their admin. So reposting, it was up for about two hours this morning during which time I got the feedback I mentioned. Then again poof it disappeared. Frustrating, and strange
Anyhow at the moment I'm putting my money on a 300+ lb yowie imitating a fox howl

Re: The Pines, Watagans: Are These Are Yowie Calls?
Fox is a very interesting comparison as i believe ive heard wild dogs in the area before, and some of their calls are funky at best. But after listening to fox calls, as odd as some of them are, i genuinely do not believe i recorded a fox call.Titla wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:27 pm

Lyre bird is always possible as those dudes can make the weirdest calls, and i dont think we could ever truely write them off as a possibility as they mimmick so well.
So... we either have 300 pound Yowie mimicking a fox or a 30 pound lyre bird mimicking a 300 pound yoeie mimicking a fox........

The word is there are feral dogs out there so I think you've been hearing right. I might run it past the North American bigfooters as they have more exposure to hairy man calls than we do here in Australia.
