Gympie Pyramid plus local Yowies

Hi everyone,

A quick update ...
I have been out of circulation for a while during field research around Queensland and New Zealand on various items plus working on some new publications.

GYMPIE PYRAMID STORY...
Just letting everyone know that the controversial Gympie Pyramid site is about to disappear from the face of the landscape and history.
The Queensland Government in its wisdom has decided that a new 4-6 lane bypass of the City of Gympie will go east of the city - and right through the famous site despite official protests and whatever else was needed - all to no avail.
My team of researchers, geologists and archaeologists have been busy photographing and recording whatever we can (and saving worthwhile pieces of rock material).

ON YOWIES...
The region where it is known near Gympie that Yowie families have actually existed has been decimated by forestry harvesting and all the known recorded habitats in these areas have been totally cleared of all vegetation - absolute sacrilege! No sightings of the families have been recorded for nearly 18 months now and it has to be presumed these three known families have moved on - either to the north towards forest areas near Maryborough or south towards the Kenilworth-Connondale region where native forests still remained - unexplored. I just hope they survive. For those who I have taken to some places in the habitat area - you may remember the Aboriginal's 800 year old "Goanna Spirit Tree" - it was destroyed despite an historical site listing - so much for saving sacred sites. Dean has a record of my actual personal sightings and recordings plus historical records back to the 1850's.

ON UFO'S...
A total of 11 recorded sightings during 2006 in the Kilkivan, Gympie, Double Island Point and Cooloola National Park regions Some quite good while others are a little suss! Sightings include single items plus several where groups of 4-5 were seen.

They are private professionals interested in the subject and quite reputable. One is from the Uni of Qld and the other is a retired academic - names are withheld due to academic "mortifications" in the "halls of science". That's all I am permitted to say at this time but they are going to publish a detailed "academic" report when they are ready. The subject of the Gympie Pyramid has been a definite "NO NO" and most interested in the subject do so "incognito".

Is the Motha Mountain area / site still OK.

How are the other suspect Pyramid and artifact locations? Are they also safe, or is the road going through them too? I hope not!!!!

The Mothar Mountain region is safe - so are the others.
The only area directly affected is the main GP site - they could have considered going about half a kilometer to the east on flatter country - instead they are going to have to cut a gorge right through the hills to fit the bypass in - you really have to admire the stupidity of beaurocrats who have never left their cushy jobs in airconditioned palaces and gone to a place to see what they are doing personally. They look at a map - Hey! This is good way to go and off they go. You can see why I get a little agro when history is purposely destroyed.

Stupidity or a deliberate attempt to remove any remaining evidence of a different history to what is generally known ? Food for thought.....

You are spot on - believe you me! Australia has a non-recognised history of peoples, visitors, strange creatures and whatever else there is but the dogma of the science halls won't recognise that Australia had a history that may have had an impact on all known historical civilisations going back at least 3500 years BC (Egyptian records) and at least 500 years BC by the Chinese (records did survive from Mao's burnings)- but you have to provide proof.
Since Australia was settled, we have systemically gone out and destroyed everything that wasn't British in concept and design - out with the old - in with the new for a new nation! Even our pioneer architectural sites and buildings are disappearing (there is more money to get rid of it and build new complexes by developers).So how can you prove past evidences with all this stupidity going on? The GP site would have been one of Australia's best archaelogical sites but it has been systemically destroyed beyond near recognition (thanks Mr Gilroy) and the final straw comes from our Qld Government bent on creating a new modern State.
If a Yowie was ever claimed to be found - the area would be sealed off - the "experts" would be called in - then a "cleamup" team would go in - and presto! Hey, prove it ever existed!
This is why the Internet MUST be used to preserve what we know - while keeping certain locations within the privacy of trusted associates.
Excuse the rambling today - must be the hot, steamy weather and I have piles of research to do plus - I now have three cups of cold coffee sitting on a desk - think I will go and get some ice blocks - Iced Coffee ... not a bad idea ... See ya.

I've always been convinced of this. It's a pity when you really think about it though, just think how much more intriguing & diversified our history really is compared to what is force fed to our children & grandchildren in the class rooms simply to fit into the "acceptable doctrine" mould.

Have to agree with you there Dawn!!I think the counter arguments do have some validity sometimes though.
People can and do have all sorts of beliefs, some of which may be right.
Many Sceptics and "Believers" often dont seem to understand the difference between passionate claims/beliefs and evidence/proof.
If you cannot prove something then it doesnt mean jack#$%^ does it.?
Sceptics never admit making mistakes, I know how they work, I used to be a member of the Sydney Sceptics.
But "believers" dont admit making mistakes either.

Dear All

Well what can I say; Dean and I have had similar conversations before. I worked in a government organisation for over 10 years that has secrets and attends to quite sensitive matters. In my time in that organisation I can truthfully say that when any "out there" information came to be known, none of the management would have been game to put their reputations and or necks on the chopping block.

It was my observations that those managers, just wanted to play it safe. If it was weird it just didn't get looked at. I was cleared to "Top Secret" and I did see stuff. I cannot comment on any of those things, but what I saw in the processing of some of those things no one was even game, in my opinion, to suggest that the reports were true and could have been true or have happened. As a result they received a very low profile. From memory UFO and alien reports were often referred to the RAAF. That is the truth.

So, between ignorance, stupidity, plain dumbness, and narrow mindedness, mixed with a good dose of the fear of promotional suicide, any of the interesting reports were relegated to a very low priority.

Well I have been around the traps for some time doing this sort of work and I am now a Licensed Private Investigator and the work is pretty interesting, I must say.
