Has anybody read these books (ebooks available) by Tom Lyons?
Some parts seem fine, but a lot seems very far-fetched: ie he shoots a sasquatch in the foot, runs through unfamiliar forest (full of sasquatch) to an isolated cabin, they save him with floodlights/taking him in, coverup begins, tensions between couple who saved him, turns out they are being paid by the government (who set up massive surveillance equipment and are paying them).
Is it just me or is he taking some creative license? I'm 3/4 through. Good read and very unsettling, but seems like a lot of things lining up.

Never heard of it. But just the plot line précis sounds like fiction / bullshit.

Re: Living Among Bigfoot - Tom Lyons
There are quite a few Bigfoot books around that claim to be real but upon reading them it becomes obvious they are fiction.
Why they do this I really don't know, but their reviews are usually very telling.
My books are advertised as fiction and have maintained 100% 5-star reviews so people must like them.
I bet if I tried to promote them as non-fiction the rating would suffer.

Definitely good reading... The later volumes seem to slow down a bit, which I think lends some credibility.
He appears to have labelled it as fiction but talks about recounting his experience, it's to the best of his recollection, etc. Apparently it's true. Maybe it's some of the dialogue that makes me skeptical - some of the stuff people say just seems very unrealistic. But is that because they actually said something different, but he just remembers the key detail and had elaborated? Maybe?
Anyway, worth a read (total of 10 volumes). Has only very recently been released
