Climber, you sound as if you have come here to seek information, drawing us in with your allusions to having 'lots of quality material', but then refusing to share that information, for fear of 'betraying' the hairies. If they are as omnipotent as you say, I wonder what they think of you coming here. If you have intimated proof, but then refuse to share it, then we are kind of in Schrodinger's Cat territory. Proof of the Yowie exists, but until we see that proof, the Yowie simultaneously could or could not exist. Catch 22, more than Schrodinger, perhaps, to be totally accurate.
Again, I also see hallmarks of McCleod's past posting in your posts or maybe Missm4mi, which could just be coincidental, but trust me, our Bullshit Radar works just fine, no matter who you are or say you are. Growing levels of abuse are not welcome here in any case, no matter who you are, so if you are at all serious about being here, please keep it civil.
You've been asked what 'research' you are wanting to find here, with no response, and forgive me for saying so, not answering puts you right in the 'sounds just like McCleod' camp.
If you are new here (though you said you lurked) why did you say you 'got the response I was expecting' - if so, why post at all?
And your disparaging and superior comment 'please refrain from posting as we are only looking for like minded researchers' looks to me like you're sounding us out, and only want to cherry pick who you talk to - another McCleod indicator who loved to be part of an echo-chamber of yes-people, not a disparate group of individuals who have the ability to ask the hard questions to winnow the wheat from the chaff. If you are looking for a cruisy ride here, then sorry, we are not in the business of blindly accepting words without proof, especially when that carrot has been dangled in front of us to get the conversation going.
If you want proper, robust discussion, you are in the right place. If you don't.... I don't know why you are even here. And like McCleod and Missm4mi, you seem to have a short fuse so forgive us for being wary. Once bitten, twice shy and all that, you know...

It's also a bit telling that you have opted not to respond to the comments.
If you're fair dinkum, it's up to you to prove your intentions, not us. If you cannot or will not, then you will understand if people choose to keep you at arm's length for now.
