Bili Ape footage - disappearing

Saw this on the Kryder/KX Cryptid-hominid page.

Very casual, but still totally disappears. Took a year for a fully-supported study team to get this footage.

I think this shows how good primates are at camouflaging themselves in dense forest growth. It's also understandable how someone in shock at seeing a relict hominid might think it's 'cloaked' or disappeared when in fact it's just blended in with it's natural environment.

The ape only needed to sit down in the bush to be camouflaged, Amazing! This is one reason why follow up research is so important when you take pictures or videos while out researching. If you see something in your recordings you need to go back to take a pictures or video from the same position hopefully close enough conditions like cloudy or full sunlight. Then go to the actual area that you think something may be to find out if it may just be a tree stump or indeed a real life creature.
If you've never hiked in thongs, you've never lived. (rad)

And there you have it folks... no need for out there theorys regarding yowies disappearing. Most mammals can disappear quite easily into thick vegetation. The key to maintaining a visual is to track the movement. If an animal, human or human like creature stays still it will be very difficult to spot. Movement is a key give away of somethings location.

The north Vietnamese military utilised black uniforms to great effect in jungle warfare .

I timed that at about 3 seconds, but seemed to lack urgency. If your eyes are darting around, you'll be hard-pressed to see any last bits of movement as they are 90% hidden within a couple of seconds, particularly if the subject has some urgency.

In some of the SAS books (potentially fiction), they talk about shape, shadow, silhouette, shine and one or two other things beginning with s that will give away someone's position.

I don't think these apes or the hairies have read any of those books, but it's in their blood and practised and refined over generations, 10's of thousands of years.

Good luck everybody...
