G'day. I visited Neil around 2011 just after Fatfoot disappeared. It was a bush block located down a long driveway off the ridge like road. Behind the house was a swamp which led down into a typical wild blue mountain Valley. Neil as far as I know probably coined the expression "yowie aware". For some time he called the police reporting a tresspasser. To cut a long story short many encounters by many neighbours and his family members confirmed the antics of a yowie. Remember fatfoot predated trail cameras and digital photography. I believe Neil captured an image of her on 35mm film with a flash and I know there were some pretty gutsy chases. Alas.. Fatfoot seemed to Go away. Who knows maybe she died. The activity started a long time before when the building of the house intruded.
