Who needs Netflix when this is on YouTube?
I really like it when non crypto people have an experience like this with out knowing all the common yowie signs and experiences. It is a kind of corroboration in my view.

This blokes unease seemed pretty genuine, you can see something move from right to left at the 13.04 minute mark???

Was that a short sharp face movement? Am I seeing the same thing?

Ah no - the bright patch to the right. Cool. I was looking at the bit he had described as a black tree trunk but what I'm now seeing is fairly low. Cool.

Actually I'm going to reconsider that - it's hard to land on anything other than the sun coming from behind the clouds. The movement is really a blend of light and also happens at the far right.
Could be that there's a figure somewhere, or video compression makes it hard to see?

Saw this a while ago and it is also strange how his car went dead when he went to take off.

Saw this a while ago as well, been hanging out for part two for the most part of a month.
Meanwhile you would be surprised at how many gold and metal detecting prospectors have had encounters over the years.

Re: This is better than any fictional short film
I would not be so quick to endorse this video as being real. There are a number of alarm bells for me.
The poster has a video channel called Busted Knuckles that requires content. It also has lots of merchandise to sell. So it needs hits for the monetized YouTube with all the ads. A jazzed up Yowie encounter… now that should do the trick to get more clicks on a gold prospecting site!
He was able to give a very graphic verbal description of the Yowie yet not a single frame did we see. He had the camera with him the whole time and he knows well how to use it.
Mostly the lens was pointed to his face to capture the narrative with occasional pans to the bushland. Perhaps better to show nothing at all than something that is obviously fake. However, he did have a crack some paradolia. Many have tried and failed with that!
However, this young fellow does deliver a really good presentation… he may well aspire to be the next Chris Hemsworth
His performance will no doubt convince many people. And the video was nicely edited.
As for the car refusing to start, you have to ask yourself… is this just a bit of theatre or a genuine 10,000 to 1 chance coming off? At the end, he promises to come back out again “if this video gets 5000 likes”. Is he just being facetious or does that tell you something?
Just a devil’s advocate opinion and I am happy to be corrected on all my doubts. Remember, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Unfortunately, I saw zero real evidence in the above YouTube video.

But is it the low grey-brown shadow, which I believe is just sun coming out of from behind clouds, or a really dark part of the taller section just to the left, right against the tree?Rusty2 wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:10 pm He lost me at the first add BUT there actually is something happening in the background , looks like a shadow or something .

It just seems to smooth/blended to me - like the sun coming out behind clouds. There's a similar patch to the far right, a second or two later, that does the same thing.

Thanks for putting up the clip. It looks like movement to me...not light or shadows etc.aaq wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:42 pmBut is it the low grey-brown shadow, which I believe is just sun coming out of from behind clouds, or a really dark part of the taller section just to the left, right against the tree?Rusty2 wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 6:10 pm He lost me at the first add BUT there actually is something happening in the background , looks like a shadow or something .

Re: This is better than any fictional short film
Five years ago when I first fell headlong down this rabbit hole I would spend inordinate amounts of time trying to figure out if videos like this are real etc. not I don’t even bother. I realise now, if it is real it won’t prove anything or convince anyone. Conversely if it isn’t real then it won’t disprove anything either. So all the clips like this get left in a category I think of as “MAYBE”.
And the fun part of MAYBE category videos for me is that they can be “entertainment that might actually be real” and that to me is way more entertaining than pure fiction.
So when I see something like this video that is genuinely entertaining and which might be true/real, I really appreciate.
Having said all that, all we’re left with here is some ambiguous pixels moving ambiguously on the screen. Which is pretty much my expectation for everything.

Yes, alot of what is presented to us on YouTube regarding Yowie or bigfoot should be enjoyed for what it's.
Entertainment not evidence.

People must realize they will never discover the evidence well not the type they're looking for.

I'd love to see what his metal detector was doing in the moments before he put it down. Electromagnetic anomaly perhaps?
Anyway, the guy seems genuinely spooked but I'm not sold on the shadow movement, as interesting as it is.
Also, if I thought there was something unusual in the bush I would have ripped off that hoodie and beanie in an instant. All they would do is muffle whatever sounds he was trying to detect.

Hey Senses , just so you know , there are people out there right now sitting on some incredible footage and photographs , better than anything we've seen .
Most of the people (not all) are members of the public and not everyone wants to share , not everyone wants to solve the puzzle , not everyone wants to expose the creatures and bring attention to themselves and other people want money for their footage .
I've seen some of it and can vouch for it's authenticity but I've been asked not to share it with anyone .
Below is a picture from a trail camera captured by one of our own members , Lil Foot . Unfortunately Lil Foot didn't want to share the face of the creature .

Its a shame that they dont want to share the photographs. I used to think it was pointless to try and prove their existence but now I really hope someone gets some undisputed evidence of a tiger or a yowie.Rusty2 wrote: Sat Oct 17, 2020 4:46 pmHey Senses , just so you know , there are people out there right now sitting on some incredible footage and photographs , better than anything we've seen .

We need something to save the bushland. Australia is out of control with the development and clearing.
Still this is a research forum. Isnt discussing footage and enlightening others an important part of research?

I can't be sure of that shadow movement either. There was a noticeable breeze in the area which was moving branches and leaves causing perceived movement. I think that's what it is. Thanks to Rusty for the MPEG4 video and also for posting the Lil Foot photo. The only reason I can think of for covering up the Lil Foot head is that it would be extremely difficult to draw a realistic one using normal photoshop tools! I'm sorry to say this, but when you zoom in to the max for a good look, that photo looks very much like it is shopped.Anyway, the guy seems genuinely spooked but I'm not sold on the shadow movement, as interesting as it is.

Thanks Rusty. Appreciate your input. I believe that almost anything digital can be manipulated. Error level analysis usually refers to compression levels and in a cut-out, those could be number matched then layered and inserted.
To me, this unfortunately falls in the category of being just another ‘blobsquatch’. There is no detail to see as the shot is so wide. Gaussian blurs are good to make images like this blend in with the background to appear more natural. There a few things like the roundness of its right shoulder that doesn’t look right to me. And the lower body around the ferns looks a bit strange. But hey… that’s just my opinion! I also share your view that any major breakthrough will most likely not come from a researcher.
I have Adobe Photoshop on my main computer and it has been used in literally 1000’s of professional TV productions, so I am familiar with what can be achieved. All I am saying is the image COULD have been modified.
However… Rusty, if you tell me you are 100% convinced this Lil’ Foot photo is genuine then I will hop across to your side of the fence, look at it from your viewpoint and change my tune. Why? Because I know you will have done due diligence with all the necessary background research.
Cheers mate.

There is one simple explanation for this. The sun breaks through the clouds and a shadow moves, that's all nothing more.
