Shonky National Tabloid Report On Buck's Footage

At last the recent brilliant AYR yowie footage is in the national news.

The Australian Daily Mail report claimed that the film was taken in May, when it was actually in early April.

Did their reporter deliberately change the timing of the film, or did she not properly look at or understand the AYR website?

Did anyone from the Mail do an interview?

And the picture of Buck and Gary, they name Dean instead of Buck, and Buck instead of Gary. Do journalists actually do proper journalism anymore? Do they not have time to watch a half an hour video? Don't bother reading the comments on that article either.

I expect that the UK Daily Mail tabloid will soon regurgitate the Australian Online Mail tripe, with added embellishments.

They have a history of pushing nonsense generally, and about yowies in particular. In Aug 2018, they took a very credible AYR report and concocted a fable of a woman fighting off a yowie with a cricket bat.

Was in the courier mail, I believe, someone sent me the online link to the report. Also, there was a short report on the Channel Seven News last night. Still poor reporting, like they were just going through the motions and did not take it seriously. I guess did we expect anything else. Be interesting to see if someone takes the story and makes more of it. They did not even show the best footage, so to the general person watching, it looked liked the footage could have been taken of anything.

That's actually quite a reasonable interview from a typically trashy morning "news" program. Dean did a great job with the typical super short time these types of interviews are. Cheers David.

I thought it was good but if you watch it again Kotchie says that no one has ever seen one and he knows very well that Dean has had encounters and has hundreds of credible witness reports available.

I thought that was a bit arrogant but still it was one of the best Yowie reports ive seen on modern tv.

Yeap I agree. It's the job of these presenters to be flakey at best. I don't even watch anything on TV it's garbage but something tells me this is part of the "soft disclosure" of all things UFO and paranormal. I really think people have that many distractions that they don't really care!

Its true that people dont seem to care. Youd think the proposed ufo disclosure would have people mildly interested but its not a talking point with anyone Ive spoken to.
