A curious pondering here, as so many people see them and a lot of these displays of aggression don't end in fatalities perhaps they are protectors of the environment and are just pissed off at the shrinking sphere of wilderness and nature?
Considering that some sightings also that have occurred in the Western Australian wheat belt far away from such wilderness and that no real habitation nor 'publicised' skeletal remains have been found I also wonder if they have access to some kind of dimensional portal?
Ive had two run ins with 'it', thankfully I didn't see them but I did hear the roar and it also attempted to lure me and my mates down a valley(Near the three Sisters Katoomba) late at night asking for help, when we didn't go down to assist it screamed a blood curdling roar like a human mixed with a Lion, suffice to sat we ran very, very fast away. The other one I was in northern QLD fishing early evening at Mowbray Bridge north of Port Douglas on a moonless night and this thing that seemed to weigh as much as a forklift jumped down through the tree canopy then stomped through thick tall reeds of grass and bracken with so much force that it put chills through us instantly as what ever it was had A LOT of body mass, there had been a Croc that watched us most the day also so I was on edge leaving the river in pitch black anyway.
Id been reading about Aboriginal Lore also how you always take fire with you and go in twos. Man I thought we were done for, but again, although I almost made brown in my pants we were left unscathed and we made our way to the highway all be it very gingerly.
So I posit, are the majority of them not interested in taking sapiens out and do they have some tech that allows them to shift around in a way that hides them?

Thats quite possible and I have often wondered this myself. They do tend to have a not so friendly reception for people who disrespect nature or get in their personal space.planetoftheapes wrote: Tue Aug 30, 2022 8:24 pm .... perhaps they are protectors of the environment and are just pissed off at the shrinking sphere of wilderness and nature?
I certainly lean to them being a spiritual being. I was once of the belief that we were dealing with a lost ape ancestor that is primarily a Flesh and Blood creature, but that longer even enters my thought process. As there are many reports of them vanishing from eye witnesses which does not make sense for the Flesh and Blood viewpoint. Plus many other abnormalities in behavior.planetoftheapes wrote: Tue Aug 30, 2022 8:24 pm Considering that some sightings also that have occurred in the Western Australian wheat belt far away from such wilderness and that no real habitation nor 'publicised' skeletal remains have been found I also wonder if they have access to some kind of dimensional portal?

You say it was asking for help? was that in English? or just a moaning as if in distress? I found your comment very interesting.

I am also interesting re "calling for help". I do remember something similar that I read a while ago about a hairy beckoning two stockmen to follow it, using its hands. They followed for a while, but when it wanted them to follow into thicker bush (I think down a gully??), they got fearful and rode out as fast as they could. It was also stated that the hairy was not happy they did not follow and kept beckoning them.
I think it was in the book "The Yowie: In search of Australia's bigfoot" by Tony Healy and Paul Cropper. I hadn't heard of any other similar reports (witness reports), but I bet it does happen more frequently than we hear of.
It is interesting, although two persons, it still wanted them to follow. Would be interesting to know why, but I guess big, BIG risk.

Re: Yowie conduct/protocol
I record mostly with professional wildlife mics. I often captures communications that do not sound human at all. One of them said "Bush Portal". These recordings go over peoples' heads as they have no frame of reference-almost all my posts go without any responses. It shows highly intelligent beings out there. Last time I went out there was a few of us. Hearing stone sounds, movement in bush, electronic voice phenomena and also dis-embodied voices. Back a few months ago I recorded what sounds like a tree getting snapped down at night in the same area.

Hauntedman , please do not be discouraged because you have little response to your posts. I for one look at every one of your posts because you are well into the subject on a different wavelength, which is where we need to look I’ve realised. There is not a lot of response because no one knows what to say !

Hey, planetoftheapes.
It's interesting that you had an encounter at the Mowbray bridge. There have been a few reports from that exact same spot. Would love to hear more details of your encounter.

There was a front page story in the Port Douglas Gazette but I can't seem to locate the link. It seems like the paper may have changed ownership.
