Woolamia Yowie

Unread post by Iwant2see »

Can anyone tell me about the Woolamia Yowie ( 1985 ) I sent paul Cropper an email regardign the location of Woolamia and he confirmed it was where I thought, just a few minutes drive from the high school I went to.

There is a witness Illustration on The Yowie File site, so i was wondering if anyone can shed somelight on this??
I want 2 see - but I know that if I do I will need a change of underpants.

I have shed light on this thing.... I'm the person who saw it. It is still in the area too.. Have you seen it as well? Near Huskisson- South Coast. Its not shy or able to be be scared easily as I found out last summer. Its clever, mind reading clever too..
Mum said there was no monsters, no 'real' monsters anyway, but there are.

Can you shed some more light on the mind reading bit? Heaps of people have talked about them 'getting into their heads', feelings of being watched, coming into their dreams, telepathy etc
And that's all I have to say about that.

I too have an avid interest in this 'psychic' ness. It pops up time and again

Anything living in this area is going to be under a lot of habitat pressure the ongoing development around Jervis Bay area is depressing.

i was a little shocked to see the amount of development down your way, even the swanhaven area now seems to all go go, chopping up large chunks of that previously pristine bush, when i was last down there ( 20 years ago ) it was a sleepy backwater, now i see development left , right and centre...sad, if i were a Yowie, i'd be on the warpath too!
