Nth Bris outing

Homerbear, Anonimust, and myself trotted out to HB's patch yesterday. He took us to where he's found his 2 prints, and then we spent a few hours scouting out the area some more.

The ground was really hard so we didn't have any luck in the way of prints, but we did find a number of tree breaks, twists, and formations. Pics are below, and I'll let those 2 chime in with any details they see fit:

Yes, the boys and I went bush for a few hours, and yes I showed them 1 of the 2 prints, we discovered 2 well used paths 1 that had a lot tree damage, and bush sign posts, sticks and trees laid or bent into cross patterns from start to finish, as 1 the photos was of a young wattle who's 1 particular branch to me could only have broken by bending it down and snapping it, not by wind, 1 track comes out directly across from the print I found, and the terrain and scrub density would be perfect country for a yowie, plenty of cover, food sources and water and no humans or extremely little sign of.. There were 4wd tracks and dirt bike tread marks but all were old, 1 of up sides is we are going back not just 4 the yowie presence but also for the wicked fishing spots we found and quiet I've never been so close a major city and be at a place so quiet that all you could hear was the wind through the trees and bird calls, from what I can gather through satellite photo's of the area the nearest house to our location was easily 4.5 to 5km's away, we tried yowie calls, tree knocking, farting, loud abusive calls, like where the fugg are you...haha... Seriously we came across no wallaby or roo poo poo, no so called wild dogs or dingo tracks or sign in general of any animal almost like something had scared them all off, very uncanny and 1 bandicoot skull which could been a feral cat attack...definately going back...
