solar powered transmitting cameras

just wondering if anyone has ever set up a self powered fixed camera that sends pictures back to a computer or mob phone?
i reckon this would be awesome, especially in these yowie hotspots. checkout these sites http://www.watchthedeer.com and also http://www.coolest-gadgets.com for their solar powered security cameras.
someone could do well out of this by setting up a website with live links, for obsessed yowie watchers like me.

Not a bad idea lil foot,

But it would have its problems, finding a good location to put it in without it being taken or vandalised is just one of many problems

It would pretty much have to be put on somebody’s property to reduce the risk. Then you would have to keep its location quiet so not to have people knocking on your door asking about the yowie which has been known to reside there.

Other than that not a bad idea, although, and its my personal opinion I think there far to smart to be caught on camera

the ones i was looking at needed a receiver somewhere so you would be limited to the location but would be outstanding in the field i like em
