I think sticky should win a prize for his talents, manners, good taste and diplomacy. His posts are always excellent and well thought out (yowie ones) and humorous ones good for a quality chuckle.

He certainly exhibits good qualities in a person to me. 8)

Stickyfingers,

I'm highly impressed! Your mock-up of me as Indiana Jones is exactly who I felt like when I was dressed up in that garb. Your other peces are equally well thought out! Ditto with your work, Seeker, Cass, Dean, and Lasso!

My contributions to this thread are not too far off now...

... whoa Yowie my friend... I'm not too sure what to say mate... you've sorta knocked me over with such praise... thankyou... really... I'm not sure what to say... one thing for sure is that you've made me feel quite chuffed about it... thanks...

... hey Joe... two minds think alike eh mate???... yeah you certainly did look the part BEFORE I did the movie poster of you!!!!... I'm glad that you liked it... that one was fun to do because I had to experiment with stuff in Photoshop that I hadn't used before to get the right textured look... but it seemed to have worked out okay in the end...

...hey Seeker... just love your latest work... I like the way you put Dean BEHIND the bars there mate... that must have been a lot of fiddling around to do I imagine... great effort...

... anyhow... I come to realise that I hadn't done one of either Iwannabelieve or Anonimust so here they are!!!... along with Steve Mason... I've taken a scene out of "The Wizard of Oz"... and turned them into the three Munchkins in the movie... I hope you guys like it...

Image

... I have some others on there way that I'll post soon...**Sticky titters to himself because he knows what's coming** ... cheers... Stickyfingers. :D :)

Great work everyone, this has been one of the funniest threads I have ever read on the net. Keep posting the pics, they are awesome. I would love to send in a photo of myself but my dog keeps eating them  ....but seriously, if there was a way for me to put my face next to my name, but just in this forum, I would gladly do so. I just wouldn't like anybody out there to come along and copy my face (with my name attached) and do whatever with it. I mean, look how easy it is for you guys to create just about anything. You even have an eight year old creating pictures that 25 years ago, would be deemed authentic in a court of law. Now I will never show any photoshop programs to my nephews!! Ever!!! They would slaughter me. Anyways, keep the pictures coming and if there is any way for the avatars to be different in seperate forums, that would be cool too! Trev

Wow! You guys really have been busy the last couple of days! Very very impressed with all the new pictures.

Sticky...loving the Indiana Jones picture.

Seeker I must say your skills have improved very quickly. Loving the picture of Dean in the cage and I must say that Cass and I are looking pretty hot in those outfits! I will work on that other photo of me for you.

Cass where does your talent stop!

The scary thing is I once had a outfit like that - when I was 4!

...aaaaah Seeker... brilliant... just brilliant mate... that YL1 pic is magic!!!... hmmmm... he looks different with his clothes on though eh???... lol!... just finished doing a couple of pics myself... I've FINALLY done one of Topender!!!... this is how he looks just before a Yowie hunt... all prepared to hack away at the dense scrub!!!... here he is... Choppy Toppy!!!...

Image

... the other I've done... speaks for itself... it's Queen Lasso...

Image

...NOW!!!!...ladies and gentlemen... mums and dads... boys and girls... and Yowies... I'd like to ask you all... no... better than that... **Sticky gets down on his knees into the traditional begging position** ... and then open heartedly pleads...

..."PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE!!!!... COULD YOU ALL PLEASE POST SOME MORE PHOTO'S OF YOURSELVES SO THAT WE CAN DO OTHER PICS OF YOU!!!!... (there is only so much you can do with a very small photo)... AND COULD YOU PLEASE POST PHOTOS WITHOUT SUNGLASSES ON!!!... PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE!!!!"...

... it would make a huge difference and would also help to keep this thread kicking along for quite a few more laughs to keep the fun going...
Re: Cass where does your talent stop!
Oh man....W'ERE JUST GETTING STARTED! This thread has revived something within me and I feel more inspired than EVER! I've looked at the Artwork critique forum (IF YOU HAVENT LOOKED YET THEN GET YOUR BUTTS OVER THERE!) and my goodness Sticky, you have a beautiful stroke in your painting technique and I feel exactly where you're coming from. Your colour blindness gives you an advantage and is no burden to your finished work at all. Art is your expression of how you veiw the world, and I see that you veiw it with grace and acceptance. Thanks for sharing!

I've been away from this thread for just a day, and all these new pics are cracking me up!

just when you think you can't laugh anymore......
... thanks Cass... I must admit... it's very daunting putting your own work out there for all to see... but when I saw that thread had been created I sort of knew SOMEONE had better get the ball rolling on there so I thought... "oh sod it!!!... it may as well be me or nobody will ever post there artwork there"... after all ... when people look at your artwork ... they are looking into your soul... they are seeing something from within you that you would not nornally show I believe... but hey... it's done now eh?...they were very nice words on your part Cass... thankyou again... cheers... Stickyfingers. :)

... thanks Seeker... I appreciate that my friend...
I would love to put on a serious pick of myself without sunnies as you request but I cannot because my real name is rob and I'm a dentist If I can find something better I may change my pic in the future. I just don't have that many pics of myself to choose from.
... and sweet Lasso... I believe that you are right when you said this...
Thanks for the photo sticky, Queen Lasso is not looking to well and I think Laura Croft has had better days. I think I may need to give you another picture to work with.
... was it my begging that made you say this????... (I just want to know so that I can use it as a weapon in the future!... but... um... don't tell anyone will you???)... hey that would be really good if you could post new pics... (in my best Homer Simpson voice... "aaaaah... new photo's"! )... **drool... drool** ... cheers... Stickyfingers. :D :)

I now look back on those days and shake my head.
