sorry if im being a bit nosey, but what do you use all that gear for besides yowie research? are you in the science field? and how long you been chasing the hairy fella?

This is all to do with Yowie research nothing else, I'm hoping to buy a thermal imager this year, thats going to be the icing on the cake.
As for research I've been into it for abot 17 years I guess, have had some good sightings, collected some great evidence.

I am planning on putting out a book on Yowies on the New England Tablelands this are has more accounts and sightings that have never been documented.
It will be a while before it all comes together but it will come out eventually
But in the mean time I'll get some better proof of these animals existance, but how much proof do you need.

that is the million dollar question, 'how much evidence do you need?'
i guess its different for every person, for me im pretty convinced at around %80, and would be happy with a sequence of photos showing a yowie in movement, or better a video in high def. but no blurs, they do nothing for me or for that matter, the cause.

Well what can I say, you've got to much time on your hands.

im guessing its going to be a quiet week as most of us will be run off our feet with work and parties and chrissy preparations. too many distractions! anyway i guess as people head off on their holidays/time off and such we may get some action. unfortunately i wont be in an area where i might find yowie , the only ill be collecting is my dogs on the beach.
anyone going bush, into yowie territory for holidays?
