RE: The vine theory , I think that if a vine was wrapped around a tree for as long as it would be required to effect the depth of the markings as per the footage then the surrounding timber would be more weathered .

The area around the markings on the tree in the video appears to be fresh , like a piece of fresh cut lumber , that would lead me to believe that this disturbance happend quite recently deffinately registering the area as a place worth revisiting for the purpose of further investigation .

Hi Mango

The two people that first went to investigate the property are no longer on this forum, (unless they post under a different name), I believe there was a follow up but the circumstances around that (being close to 12 years now) escape me.

From memory I think the whole thing turned into a circus of events, not of the paranormal side of things but of the owners of the property accusing the investigators of things they simple did not do. Therefore the whole thing just died off.

Thanks for sharing. I have been to the Skinwalker Ranch over in USA. Where I had my first Bigfoot like encounter there. I have this stuff recorded including light anomalies. Here is some evidence from my recent years of research including after my return to NZ where the phenomena continued to attach to me. Craft, Bigfoot messages, Strange voices calling my name in these 'UFO' wild areas where I have heard Bigfoot calls. Here in this video you can see/hear some of it. I am going down the rabbit hole on this. I will be interviewed by a pilot TV show here in NZ this weekend about the strange stuff that goes on. You can hear them calling my name from the wild bush area. A wild ride. https://youtu.be/1F4o7oI1NjI

The Skinwalker Ranch also known as the Sherman Ranch in Utah. Bigfoot, Dogman or skinwalkers as the indigenous peoples call them are more than periodically seen on this ranch along with many other paranormal visitations. Bigfoots correlation with UFO's is well documented so you would have to ask if Bigfoot is an unidentified hominid why apparently do they have a paranormal connection with UFOs not only on Skinwalker Ranch but other parts of the US and the world?

Hi Mango

Hi Al and Dion. What a coincidence I came back to the forum today and noticed this post. Al you must have been digging deep into the forum to find this. Just thought I would clarify a couple of things. The events that occurred on this property took place over many decades so all the encounters were spread out over quite some time. Due to the large variety of encounters we (or Mike) linked it in reference to skinwalker ranch but these occurrences occurred over a long time period and from what I can gather of the real Skinwalker Ranch it is quite active to this present day judging by the current TV series. Interesting show!

Dion I am not aware of that information relating to accusations... or it turning into a circus so to speak?. You might be getting that mixed up with another property/case? Our main purpose of going there was to have a look around and document the reports from the family.... we managed to scan some of their photographs that they had collected over the years documenting strange occurrences/markings. I think we made some recordings as well . I am pretty sure at the time I passed on a document to Dean recounting events. From memory we left our contact details if anything else should happen but I never heard back from them. I have no idea if Mike had any follow up but he never mentioned it. The main purpose was to document past occurrences. The elderly couple that lived there seemed like honest, normal people and they lived pretty simply. I cannot see them being at an age or position where they would have continued to look for or document events if anything took place in the years since and I am not sure of the extended family`s interest.

From memory, some of the stories they told us included a couple of yowie sightings on the property, tree markings, animal deaths including one of the sons coming across a kangaroo that had been recently decapitated with blood still pooling, in alarm he had a look around to see what had done it and there was nothing out of place...., one UFO sighting from their house, random cattle stampedes and even a giant bird sighting that resembled a pterodacty!!!!

Just to further clarify on my last post. Correction with my response. Mango raised that question not Al

I looked back over my notes on this case and one key thing I left out was that it was the deceased son who had a strong interest in yowies and he would go out exploring the surrounding area and the Pillaga scrub. He was the one who found the caves and animal remains. The whole family experienced strange things but in particular it was the son who had most of the experiences and was very active in documenting, photographing, casting footprints and such.

Incredibly sad story in many respects. It was my feeling that the family passed this information on to us as a legacy to their son`s involvement and interest in these subjects.

Summary of some events described.
3 seperate yowie encounters-experiences including a memorable one involving the neighbour`s adult son. They awoke one night to hysterical banging on their back door (remember this is a remote property) and it was the neighbours son who was in a hysterical panic. He insisted they turn on all outdoor lights. When they calmed him down he explained that he had been up for the weekend doing some fencing on his parents property (neighbours) and was camping on the fenceline. He had a fire going and was sitting around it when a massive creature walked into the light of the fire... it was blackey-grey, hair-covered, and huge. Upon seeing the creature he has launched himself into his vehicle and driven at speed straight to their house. They said he was so shaken up by what had happened that he refused their offer of a bed to sleep and remained up all night looking out the back of the house as if on guard. That morning he left and to their knowledge never returned!

other events...
Large rocks thrown at the house or near to where the mother was standing whilst hanging clothes out.
On one occasion a large roar from an unknown animal

A dramatic nighttime UFO sighting by the father from the back window of the house.
Strange ear piercing whining sounds coming from the sky but with no visible cause.
On one occassion they heard what sounded like a stampede of horses or cattle but went outside and found nothing to explain the sound.
A pterodactyl sighting
The father also had two anomalous experiences on the Turon River whilst fossicking.. something like time slips or noticeable changes in the environment.

Strange animal deaths. Kangaroos ripped in half, decapitated. A horse found dead with a fence pole driven into it which they photographed. Caves with dead animals, large footprints found on the fence line of the property which the son casted, tree markings and so on....
