The Pilliga Princess

The ghost of The Pilliga Princess has reportedly been seen many people travelling along the Newell Highway in NSW.

Decide for yourself whether or not she is real.

During a recent spooky conversation on Overnights we took a number of calls about the Pilliga Princess - a woman who inhabited the Pilliga Forest on the Newell Highway. Since her passing her ghost apparently has been spotted on the side of the road.

The Pilliga is not far from where I had my visual sighting so thus I have a fascination with the area

In regards to Bongo's story I'm not sure if it is credible or not he certainly sounds distressed could it have been our friend the hairy man.

From the sounds of that story if it is TRUE he sounds like a rouge Yowie bent on killing people. My god Bongo might be right shut the place down and do a full police search its cold blooded murder for gods sake lets just hope that story was bull / s...after hearing that it makes you think twice about going out and looking for these guys.......

Hey BB I don’t the yowie killed the lady and hence forth the Pilliga Princess Ghost.

I think the story goes along the lines of a lady being accidentally hit by a truck or motorcyclist and she can now be seen walking aimlessly along the highway pushing a trolley, or so the story goes.

Could be just fairy tale and most likely is, still it sends shivers up my spine just thinking about it.

Been doing a bit of research into the area apparently the truckies talk about the min min lights there as well so its certainly an area of high strangeness.
