There are some REAL monsters out of Darwin itself, croc control only occurs within roughly 100kms of darwin outside this area there are many many 18-20 footers. crocs are literaly everywhere up here, they come up suburban creeks, are regularly seen at all the local town beaches. you probably heard about the poor 11 yr old kid who was taken in a small creek up here..that was only 40 kms from Darwin city
5 years ago i went fishing with a mate at a place called ' Shady Camp" about 150 kms east of darwin on the mary river system we put the boat in at the boat ramp, i had a video camera and fimed a total of 135 crocs along a 4 km stretch, on the bank, in the water, everywhere.
I took a mental health day off work yesterday..went for a fish in the harbour and had 2 crocs hanging around the boat for about an hour...mongrel things
People get complacent..especially tourists....they end up as croc poo
This planet is a one big farm, we are not the farmers but the stock

Dashboard;

That picture has been around awhile and impresses me every time I see it. I've been led to believe it's a Nile River croc and that's a warthog in the jaws. Warthogs can make a feral boar run scared. Like I said, I'm impressed !! no matter where or when it happened. Ummmm makes ya wonder if the photographer used his long lens to get that shot (lol).

Another forum at another place had the pic of the croc alongside the tray top ute and it was stated that that croc was shot about 10 years ago.
