Hello everyone ,
I went out to the stick's this morning ( like I do most saturday morning's ) to collect my files and when I got home and checked them I found this .
It's within about 700 metre's of my last recording's . And it sound's pretty close . Have been moving my gear around and trying new thing's but still can't get any video or photo's .......................
Included here is a picture of my camo pipe , which has the recorder in it.
A map of the area and the recording .................
For the other recording's , please refer to the ( Can anyone identify this footprint ) post .

That's a very close & clear recording of the knocking Rusty!
Would have thought that it would also have picked up their feet and movement through the leave litter / scrub etc also!
Any idea's why not?
Whenevr I walk through the bush, it can be heard for a far distance!

You could try to modify the recorder by removing the batteries and soldering longer leads, which could be connected to a larger battery.

Brain1962 , I thoroughly agree . I do have a recording from last week . You can here something pokeing around . I wasn't sure what it was until today . Of course , technically , I still don't know what it is . But something is making these noises and I dont know what .
Hey topender , it's a sony IC recorder . Yep , voice activated but will only last a day in winter , but it lasted three day's this time .
Here's the recording from last week , wonga pidgeon and blowfly's included .
