Gold Coast Spots?
Hey there. I live on the gold coast and I am pretty interested in checking out a few spots in the area. Apart from the usual springbrook/lamington area, was just wondering if there are any other places of interest. Any info would be great. Cheers

The only other places I could suggest is the areas around Hinze Dam and Mt Warning NP otherwise you have to travel pretty far

Gilston, behind Nerang has a history of sightings, in fact there is a fairly famous sighting from there, at a camp for boys up on the hill by Senator Bill O Chee no less. Plus my 'lations come from there, and they were pretty tight lipped about weird things, though they did let a few stories slip which I've mentioned before on the forums somewhere.

Ormeau used to be hot about 10 years ago but I`m pretty sure they have moved on from that area... you never know though?
All these spots are linked by corridors of National Park/ State Forest so a lot of the time its more about luck then anything else.... they could be anywhere???

SGD, do you know where the family are that have the horses on Gilston Road? That property used to belong to my Mum's rellies, so if you have been in Gilston for a while, you may know them - the Bowdens...

I do know the property, and if it's the one I'm thinking of, I am only up the road from there. Less than a km. And I don't know the Bowdens personally but having grown up my whole life in gilston/tallai area, I know the name. Sounds very familar.

I realise this location is further north,
however my brother recently went to the Glass House Mountain area
and video taped what appeared to be the weathered leftover's of several larger than normal footprints in a sandy area!
Not sure how to get hold of them as I live in Sydney and he is in Buderim!
