Oral Historys

Unread post by NoPolys »

Mike;

You have some golden history there my friend! Thanks to you and Rebecca for sharing.

I was doing fine until Percy began to describe the scratch marks...... (scared)

I hope if Percy is ever willing to share more, you will have the camera there to record it.

If there were animals that looked and acted "cat-like" in the time frame he is talking about, it only makes sense they are still around .... somewhere.... (I hope).

Cheers

Hi John
You have some golden history there my friend! Thanks to you and Rebecca for sharing.
Thanks John..I appreciate your comment..!!
My favourite line for awhile..its just after the jump cut edit at the start
"there`s no weirdo about it I`ll tell you..there is strange things in these hills"
I was doing fine until Percy began to describe the scratch marks......
I was doing fine..until he started speaking really quietly..and I was stretching to hear what he was saying.. (kill)
And because he was talking in slight riddles..and switching the talk between cats.."big fellows".."yowies" ? etc..during our little chat..I was sort of lost.. (jest)
I hope if Percy is ever willing to share more, you will have the camera there to record it.
I hope so..
If there were animals that looked and acted "cat-like" in the time frame he is talking about, it only makes sense they are still around .... somewhere.... (I hope).
We are ringing him up to clarify the time frames..

Mike

Looking forward to meeting up with Percy again. I think collecting and sharing these stories is very important.

Glad you enjoyed it NoPolys :D

Ruby;

I believe it's important and am grateful you guys are working to preserve the info. It appears to me this...."middle time".... from sometime around WWII to about the 70's has received little attention and I think there is a lot of missing info not to mention great stories!! (lol)

Thanks to both of you for the effort!

Cheers
