For a while now I've been pondering some of the research out of Victoria regarding polar dino's such as Leaellynasaura and what that could mean for endo vs. ecto-thermy.

Now I see some other Antarctic research is reaching the pointy end after a few years of plannning and development:

Anyway, it got me daydreaming - forget eukaryotes - how cool would it be to break through the ice and see something like this pop up on the screen:
