All the bark has been stripped naturally only to be left with this.

Eucalypts shed their bark constantly, helped by rain and wind... wind ... maybe it was caused by Yowies farting?VicYowieResearch wrote:Cockies will also strip bark too.

Tell me please Mr Wolf
Do crows, crow at 2am in the morning????
Do cockies continue their monkey screams at 2am most mornings, sounding like there is a hundred of the fellas around? There is really only a couple that reside here.
Do two Grey kangaroos ran out of the banana tree clump, chasing two bush turkeys on the same route frantically, when they've been sprung just after first light.
We don't have Grey Kangaroos in this area, rock wallabies, yes. Grey Kangas no.
Do bush turkeys just appear in thin air, when you have been looking down on the section for half an hour.
Then suddenly disappear ??????
Ray must be onto the Australian Ape Project as they're ever where here.
Cheers Wolf

They dart and scurry all around the place quite quickly where I live - one moment they appear from nowhere and then a minute later they're not to be seen. Saw one flying into a tall tree on Wednesday evening at a park by Sydney Harbour.wellymon wrote: Do bush turkeys just appear in thin air, when you have been looking down on the section for half an hour.

I have often heard crows at early hours, usually if disturbed by something or when the moon is throwing lots of light about similar to a false dawn.
Yep. heard that too (see above with crows)wellymon wrote:Do cockies continue their monkey screams at 2am most mornings, sounding like there is a hundred of the fellas around? There is really only a couple that reside here.
The Gold Coast is actually full of grey roos. I have been all over the east coast and have never seen anywhere near as many grey roos anywhere.wellymon wrote:Do two Grey kangaroos ran out of the banana tree clump, chasing two bush turkeys on the same route frantically, when they've been sprung just after first light.

Yep again. Turkeys often drop out of trees or fly up into them, or suddenly 'appear' out of nowhere (as Greg attests).
Your beliefs are your beliefs and as such you are welcome to them... No need to get defensive over my crappy yowie fart joke. If you think Yowies shape shift into scrub turkeys who am I to say otherwise? I don't know or pretend to know what is reality and what is not. Each of us shapes our own reality with our own thought processes and perception.

Hard call telling what did those.
If you saw the artist well I guess that sums it up.

Re: Yowie Bark Art
Bush turkeys are fast little buggers. Having worked nightshift alone in the australia zoo, i saw them darting everywhere--noisy little buggers too in the bush. But most of us go on trips into the bush and back home again. I believe welly lives with the bush in his back yard. He would be used to the daily--nightly noises and routines. So i guess he would be the one to see, hear and really notice unusual behaviour living there with these animals.
We all know roos and animals are everywhere but we need to ask why would roos be chasing turkeys around in the first place. I think we need to open our eyes a bit more and start to listen of what could be.
Nothing is normal about these hairy guys--if it was so easy everyone would have photographs of them everywhere.
Shape shifting sounds insane but a big white creature gliding does too. I understand You must see things to believe in them for yourself, but sad farting jokes dont seem appropriate to someone trying to give us insight.
Hope EVERONE had a great xmas. I got given a noise amplifying contraption thing with binoculars on it for the bush lol.

Better be careful not to perform any noisy farts then.adventurer wrote:Bush turkeys are fast little buggers.
