Yowie sitting in grass on top of a Blue Mt?
Near the start of a stretch on the Blue Mountains near the A32. https://goo.gl/maps/hfL1EDDzAa42
My pros and cons on it:
Pros:
The 'object' looks shiny, fringy and domed.
It looks like it has eyes.
It looks like it's sitting up with a poker face on.
It's colour seems out of place there..a natural hair colour.
It's in an area seemingly always buzzing with Yowie reports.
Yowies are reported to take naps in soft or certain long grasses.
Cons:
It's too near the road and looks small, although distances can be deceptive.
The eyes not in exactly where one would expect them.
The shine could be a leaf.
The darkness could be a gap in foliage.
It's broad daylight.
It might be too chilly for a yowie to be relaxing up on a hill top
Could be anything. It's also

Giday Boab
I wanted a closer look, so I tried to find it on Google earth...Sadly after a couple of hours of frame by frame action I was at the end of the road .
I did however find these in the process.

I can see something - its quite clear.
It does have a head and seems to crouching or hiding partially. I can see the eye reference.
Is it a Yowie? I have no idea but there is something there that ' resembles' something.
Great catch.....
Even if it nothing...still worthy of discussion

Thanks for cropping it.. it's a bit more accessible. Even with that shine.. which i think is probably a leaf it does look distinct. I have looked at quite a lot around NSW and wider and the tangles of brush and tree lend themselves so much to looking like golbins and faces and plenty of stuff.. my heart skipping a beat when i think there's a definite yowie about to shock me but nearly always a click of the zoom button shows nothing but the side of tree or a mess of a tangle. With this it seems different but there's no real way to check. I suggest sitting up there camoflaged and covered in talculm powder. Not sure i'd wanna sit in a hide though trying to escape from a 12ft-er. My earlier Streetview 'find' is under Ulan Yowie thread in this section.

Yeaah i'm coming to the conclusion that it's just the the buttress/bole/lower trunk of a tree that higher up is to the right of the subject and then it twists down to the left and comes out through the leaves as the subject.. basically the blackened lowest part of the tree. If people agree that this is the case then... sorry. Please delete this thread if needed or perhaps leave as an image analysis example.

Re: Yowie sitting in grass on top of a Blue Mt?
It does seem to resemble a silhouette. I always enjoy looking at photos, my problem is that I have such bad eyesight and many photos are blurry or distorted from enlargement. I need to see 'something' dark or photo needs cropping/enhancements to draw my attention-I have an old magnifying glass and very often it makes no difference on a monitor. I DO think there are many photos/vids out there that do have authentic 'odd things' in them that really should have more scrutiny. It always amazes me when researchers do post something that very likely could be Sasquatch-there are views, maybe a few write ups, then people move on. Always on to the next video. I still examine many old videos on researcher's channels-certainly some very odd audio/video captures out there. So much to consider.
