The closure of people's minds, understandings and boundaries are subject to either current environmental pressures brewed by ignorance or insecurities sculptured by pre-environmental education whereby they know no better - Dean Harrison

Wow that sounds like a big cat. Guy seems to know his stuff. Strange i didnt see it on the news or any warning for the people in the area. Too much important news i suppose like the footballers in trouble for drugs and george bush photobombed somebody. Maybe i missed the big cat warning..

Yikes.

Even if they find one, someone will just downplay the whole thing. I just hope they're smart enough to steer well clear of human beings. So far, as far as we know, there haven't been any fatalities.

I went to the map http://pantherpeople.com/explore-sighti ... n-big-cats at the website quoted but was not able to find how to zoom in (perhaps that's just the way it is?), so makes it hard to pick out individual reports.

I had my own fleeting sighting from my vehicle (pre installation of dashboard cam unfortunately) of a big sleek black cat as it bounded across a Qld outback road in 2013. Eyes can deceive under those conditions, but it looked much bigger than a few non-black feral cats I had seen earlier. I reported it to Mike Williams, but I got the location wrong.
