Boo Boo and The Dogman

Unread post by Wolf »

Some years back while hiking through the hinterland behind the Gold Coast, my wife and I came across a very sad sight.

A chain was tied around a tree. On the end was a small dog’s collar. The only trace of the poor animal was a patch of white fur plastered to the hard, dry ground with time.

The sight made us both very angry. What kind of person could do such a thing?

A few days ago I was listening to a podcast and was inspired to write a short story. I present the first half here for your enjoyment… (critiques/suggestions welcomed)

Would read better with some space between paragraphs. The indentation at the start of paragraphs could go or stay.

Thanks Greg.
It needs a couple more passes for editing so I'll try that.

''Twas considering adding some illustrations to make it read a bit like a graphic novel, but getting the time to draw them up is tough.
