Hi Shazzoir. Thanks for the link, that’s an interesting article about the elusive night parrot.
Coincidentally there was a story in the weekend Guardian about the night parrot.
An academic Penny Olsen claims John Young’s evidence of the night parrots existence is questionable.
Apparently he resigned as a senior field ecologist for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy over the matter.

ANU academic Penny Olsen in her new book on the night parrot details these concerns.
I suppose we could be cynical and say she has a book to sell and needs a bit of a stink to draw in the punters
but her concerns have a solid foundation.

As for John Young, I really hope he can eventually prove his claims and get back some credibility from academia.
I know science is science but I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for these maverick researchers who have so much passion
for what their involved in.
