Unread post by Ray Doherty »

This was posted by a Sunshine Coast Tour company claiming to be a yowie caught on video.
IO am deeply skeptical as I have only just found it but it will be interesting to see members thoughts on this ?

I'm calling hoax, the body proportions seem very human.
These screenshots and zooms IMO shows human human proportions.

Yes, Slats it does look like someone in a Ghille Suit. We see these hoaxers all too often. Whoever filmed this video seemed to be filming way before anything appeared and when it did appear nothing was said in excitement. Also the camera work was so shonky after it appeared but was held still before anything came into view and when something did come into view the videos view went mostly towards the ground and it wasn’t because the person with the camera was shocked it was because they were hoaxing.

I call fake , you can see the subject seem to wait at the start of the video for "action " to be called , it has a very human gait and it seems
to take 9-10 steps to cross the track , where everyone who has seen one says that they would cover that area in 1-2 steps and that they glide

I am thankful for all of the intelligent participants on this site.
Perhaps I am naive , it's very cool the way you all can spot a fake very quickly.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, guess what... It is a duck!

There are too many signs indicating this footage is fake.

Hello Ray. Nice find!

Any chance you / ayr can track down who filmd this, for an interview?

There seems to be a bang sound in the direction of the figure, and its already halfway across the track before it is spotted and then zoomed in.

What I like, is the distance from the camera looks over 100 meters away before zoomed in. What i really like is how good cameras are now, with the additional zoom we can do.

Black...........we are positive it is a nothing more than attempt to make a tour company go viral, early in the new year to
get a lot of attention to their FB page and as at writing this the video has been viewed more than 6000 times with 66 shares.
You can check them out on FB - Gateway Discovery Tours

A few researchers who opinion I value (and on this forum) have had an in-depth look at stills and we are positive its someone in a suit
probably a kid. In one of the shots where we created a negative as it reveals more information you can clearly see ( We feel you can) more
details and what looks like a shirt of some-kind and some-kind of hat. When I first saw it I was excited and I hate to be a naysayer
but it doesn't look legit to me

Here are edited some pics......however there is one interesting post script to this. Many people think there is nothing on Bribie, others have a different
view. What I know is that there is a plethora of people who claim that its a junjudee place. The average man in the street wouldn't know that
unless you know something about it and the area. Maybe the tour company knows a little something but I am of the view that this video isn't legit

I and the other researchers would love to be wrong

Ray

Also, seams to struggle a bit in the soft sand.

Interesting about Bribie Island, my sister lives on Nth Stradbroke island and we were trecking through deep bush and found three fresh tree breaks at four foot off the ground on 3-4" thick trees which i never bothered to mention to her or my wife at the time as i just thought "No way" but its always bothered me that i didnt take a photo. Just mayby they are there too ?

From what I have heard over the years from Locals at Straddie Austral that there where sightings in and around the lakes there, perhaps Dean or someone on here would know more about the Islands
