Re: Tantanoola Tiger (ABC Article)
I was born and raised just a few miles from Tantanoola, but I now live a long, long way away.
My uncle and cousins played footy and cricket for "Tant", as we called it.
I was always intrigued by the stuffed wolf in the glass case.
Thanks for bringing back the memories.

, I originally come from Millicent around 20kms from Tantanoola, I too played and attended many a game of football at the Tant footy oval. As a kid I remember standing in front of the glass case looking at the mangy old world and the rifle that was used to kill it. In my 20s the Tant pub was always a regular stop when passing through for a cold beer and I always went and had a look at the "Tant tiger"Mad Academic wrote: Thu Mar 14, 2019 9:44 pm I was born and raised just a few miles from Tantanoola, but I now live a long, long way away.

I wonder if it is still there in that glass case?
The more I learn, the less I know.
