Very interesting doco, only watched half hour so far. Weird how the tongue was ripped out of one of the hikers. Good find Bluedog!

As far as staying in the cave in the tent,

It's a fake ! "Mocumentary"
If you click here https://dyatlovpass.com/theories#yeti
and scroll down the page to "Yeti / Snowman / Menk (as the local indigenous people call it)" you can read about the Dyatlov Yeti hypothesis .
Author Daniel Loxton rips into the Discovery Channel about "mystery-mongering television programs" .
Business insider also gives the Discovery Channel a boot up the arse about their megalodon show with quotes from scientists like "the show was ludicrous and almost entirely fictional"

Last night, Discovery Channel betrayed that trust during its biggest viewing week of the year. Discovery Channel isn’t run by stupid people, and this was not some kind of mistake. Someone made a deliberate choice to present a work of fiction that is more suited for the SyFy channel as a truthful and factual documentary. That is disgusting, and whoever made that decision should be ashamed.

Megalodon: The Monster Shark That Lives was not just a disservice to your genuinely curious audience. It was a lie. You used your reputation to deceive your viewers, and you didn’t even apologise for it.
At least the faux Mermaids documentaries on Animal Planet flashed a brief disclaimer explaining that they were false. Megalodon: The Monster Shark That Lives had no such warning. Instead, you did the exact opposite.

Re: Russian yeti and dylatov mystery
Thanks for the link it does seem that the dyatlov content is quite full of
.
I thought the photo that they claimed to be of a menk (yeti) looked more like a bloke in a winters coat
Than a yeti, I recently read a book about the dyatlov incident and none of the claims in the documentary were mentioned?
I did enjoy the historic content though.

There’s no consensus on what happend at Dyatlov, quite a few theories though, least likely of which seems to be Yeti attack.

Re: Russian yeti and dylatov mystery
I recently finishing a book on the subject, "Dead mountain" by Donnie Eichar.
Donnie travelled to Russia, met the sole survivor and hiked the same route to the place they perished.
He came up with an interesting theory. He puts it down to infrasound.
Worth a read if you are interested in the mystery.
