Great interview with an indigenous Australian.
Very teriffing encounter.
A great insight into Indigenous knowledge about these creatures.
This bloke knows what's going on.
I found this a fascinating interview
Thanks to AYR for sharing this blokes encounter, knowledge and wisdom.

One of the best interviews Bluedog, One thing of high strangeness about this encounter was the Yowie could seemingly see without any problem even though it had a 20,000 candle power light bar shone directly on it.

It made think that its iris may function completely different to human eyes as the Yowie was looking at the brother making the commotion and when the other brother told him to be quiet he indicated it immediately looked at the one who spoke.

Yes Ron, great pick up.
Maybe it's down to an incredibly acute sense of hearing?
Yeah it's impossible to look into a light of that intensity and to be able to see or focus on anything else.

Excellent interview and witness.

We should never ignore the knowledge and wisdom that can be gained by listening to an indigenous person or elder.

We should also get out of the "they are just Flesh and blood creatures" narrative. They have powers and an age beyond our comprehension.

And while we all have different beliefs as to what they are, what they do, and what they are capable of, I think it would be wise not to box yourself into one particular belief, but to acknowledge those cultures that lived alongside and with them, that being the indigenous, not only here in this country but around the world.

Agree Dion, I don't think we currently know enough about them to assume anything. I gained quite a bit of info from the audio report, especially the differences described by the person and by his father, etc.

We've been here a few hundred years. The indigenous peoples have been here for tens of thousands of years - so you would think they would learn a lot about the bush and survival. What about a being that has been here for hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of years - I 'm sure they would have and know of many abilities we could only dream of. I guess during the mega fauna era, the hairymen and indigenous peoples alike would have been both the prey and hunter. Therefore, to survive you would think they had the ability to adapt. Where is their next meal coming from.

I once thought these beings were just dumb hairy beasts hiding in the dense bush - if they existed. They learned and did what was necessary to survive, to adapt to new situations. What's important to us is what would we like to eat today or maybe upgrading a mobile phone??? I agree with the interviewee, they will be here long after us.
